Localização: Porto, Portugal

Regime: Híbrido (4 dias por semana no escritório)

Modelo de Trabalho: Turnos (10h/dia) + On-call rotation

Estamos à procura de um(a) Database Engineer especializado em PostgreSQL e OpenShift para integrar uma equipa de plataforma responsável pela operação, automação e evolução de serviços de base de dados em ambientes cloud-native.

Esta função terá um papel central na gestão de workloads críticos em Kubernetes/OpenShift, garantindo elevada disponibilidade, segurança, performance e automação dos serviços de dados.

Sobre a Oportunidade

Como Database Engineer, vais atuar na interseção entre administração de bases de dados, infraestrutura cloud-native e automação.

Serás responsável pela gestão end-to-end de serviços PostgreSQL executados em ambientes OpenShift/Kubernetes, contribuindo para estratégias de alta disponibilidade, disaster recovery, segurança e otimização de performance.

Irás também colaborar de forma próxima com equipas de DevOps, Platform Engineering e Desenvolvimento para garantir ambientes resilientes e preparados para escala.

Responsabilidades

  • Desenhar, implementar e gerir workloads PostgreSQL em OpenShift/Kubernetes;
  • Configurar estratégias de backup/restore, replicação e HA/DR;
  • Apoiar migrações para novas infraestruturas OpenShift;
  • Desenvolver automações utilizando Ansible e práticas de Infrastructure as Code;
  • Monitorizar, otimizar e resolver problemas de performance em bases de dados e clusters;
  • Implementar boas práticas de segurança (RBAC, encryption, secrets management, network policies);
  • Trabalhar em conjunto com equipas de DevOps, Platform Engineering e Desenvolvimento;
  • Participar em rotações de on-call e janelas de manutenção;
  • Dar suporte adicional a outros motores de base de dados durante períodos operacionais (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Redshift).

O que Procuramos

  • Experiência sólida na administração de PostgreSQL em produção;
  • Forte conhecimento em performance tuning, replicação, backup/restore e estratégias HA/DR;
  • Experiência prática com OpenShift em ambientes enterprise;
  • Conhecimentos sólidos de Kubernetes (StatefulSets, persistent volumes, networking, scheduling);
  • Experiência prática com Ansible;
  • Forte conhecimento de práticas de segurança em Kubernetes e bases de dados;
  • Experiência em modelos operacionais com turnos e on-call;
  • Capacidade de trabalhar de forma autónoma e colaborativa;
  • Boa comunicação com stakeholders técnicos e de negócio.

Será valorizado:

  • Experiência com outros motores de base de dados (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Redshift);
  • Conhecimentos de automação avançada e IaC;
  • Experiência em ambientes críticos de elevada disponibilidade;
  • Conhecimentos de observabilidade e monitorização de clusters.
