Localização: Porto, Portugal

Regime: Híbrido (4 dias por semana no escritório)

Estamos à procura de um(a) Senior Python Data Engineer para integrar uma equipa especializada no desenvolvimento de pipelines de dados e soluções financeiras de elevada complexidade.

Esta função terá um papel central na transformação de lógica financeira em soluções robustas e escaláveis, suportando o cálculo e processamento de índices financeiros nas áreas de Equity e Fixed Income.

Sobre a Oportunidade

Como Senior Python Data Engineer, serás responsável pelo desenvolvimento de pipelines de dados production-grade, garantindo fiabilidade, escalabilidade e qualidade em processos críticos de cálculo financeiro.

Irás colaborar diretamente com equipas de Financial Engineering para transformar metodologias financeiras em soluções técnicas eficientes e preparadas para produção.

Terás também um papel ativo na definição de boas práticas de engenharia, automação, monitorização e melhoria contínua dos workflows de dados.

Responsabilidades

  • Traduzir lógica financeira desenvolvida em notebooks para código Python robusto e preparado para produção;
  • Desenvolver pipelines de dados escaláveis para ingestão, transformação, agregação e validação;
  • Construir workflows de dados para suporte ao cálculo de índices financeiros;
  • Implementar mecanismos de monitorização, alerting e controlo de qualidade dos dados;
  • Participar em code reviews e promover boas práticas de engenharia;
  • Colaborar com equipas de Financial Engineering para compreender metodologias e requisitos;
  • Produzir documentação técnica clara e estruturada;
  • Assumir ownership completo das soluções, desde análise de requisitos até deployment e manutenção.

O que Procuramos

  • Mínimo de 6 a 7 anos de experiência prática em Python, focada em Data Engineering;
  • Experiência comprovada na construção de pipelines de dados production-grade;
  • Forte capacidade de trabalhar de forma autónoma em equipas sénior e de elevada exigência técnica;
  • Conhecimento sólido de conceitos financeiros (equities, fixed income, pricing, index methodologies, free float);
  • Experiência com SQL para validação e análise de dados;
  • Forte capacidade analítica e atenção ao detalhe;
  • Excelente capacidade de comunicação e colaboração com equipas técnicas e de negócio.

Será valorizado:

  • Experiência com Dataiku DSS em ambientes produtivos;
  • Background em índices financeiros, mercados de capitais ou quantitative finance;
  • Formação académica em Matemática, Estatística ou áreas quantitativas;
  • Experiência em ambientes financeiros de elevada escala e criticidade.
