📋 Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Je beheert en bouwt de verschillende thematische verkenners verder uit, met bijzondere aandacht voor de PFAS-verkenner. Die bestaat uit een publieke en een interne variant. Voor PFAS ontsluit je de datastromen die in het eerste tussentijdse rapport zijn geïnventariseerd. Je volgt daarbij de vereisten van de PFAS-werkgroepen voor datahandling, monitoring en onderzoek. Daarnaast werk je rond zorgwekkende stoffen.

Je ondersteunt de ontsluiting en regelmatige actualisering van geodata uit de verschillende inhoudelijke domeinen. Daarvoor werk je samen met de inhoudelijke verantwoordelijken en partners die de datasets beheren. Zo worden de gegevens bruikbaar in web-, desktop- en mobiele applicaties, met de tools die beschikbaar zijn of in ontwikkeling zijn. Je levert ook een bijdrage aan de publicatie van Linked Data.

Je neemt onder meer de volgende deeltaken op:

  • Analyseren van datasets die ontsloten moeten worden
  • Ondersteunen bij het aanmaken van metadata
  • Aanmaken van configuraties in GeoServer Taskmanager voor het kopiëren en ontsluiten van data als netwerkdiensten, zoals WMS, WFS en WCS
  • Testen en documenteren van de verschillende stappen in het ontsluitingsproces
  • Input leveren voor en testen van volgende versies van de Taskmanager
  • Voorbereiden van kaartmateriaal en ontwikkelen van tools ter ondersteuning van bedrijfsprocessen op het terrein
  • Opzetten van datamigratieprocessen
  • Verder analyseren en testen van de verschillende thematische verkenners
  • Verder uitbouwen van Python-functionaliteit voor geavanceerde gebruikers

De werkzaamheden vinden plaats in Zwijnaarde. Je wordt minimaal twee dagen per week op kantoor verwacht. Op de overige dagen kan je telewerken. Het team maakt deel uit van een digitaliseringsteam. Sporadisch kan aanwezigheid in Brussel nodig zijn.

Je brengt de volgende kennis en ervaring mee:

  • GeoNetwork
  • GeoServer
  • GIS, met name QGIS
  • PostgreSQL en PostGIS
  • Python
  • XML-uitwisselingsformaten
  • Minstens mediorniveau in de betrokken technologie of een vergelijkbare technologie
  • De publieke sector
  • Data over bodem, ondergrond en grondwater
  • Data over PFAS
  • OSLO-standaarden en Linked Data-publicatie
