📋 Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Als Java-ontwikkelaar bouw je oplossingen voor toepassingen rond bodem en ondergrond. Je vertaalt de vereisten uit de functionele analyse naar een technische oplossing en werkt die uit. Samen met collega’s en eindgebruikers bewaak je de kwaliteit van de opgeleverde software.

De opdracht omvat de verdere ontwikkeling van het luik rond bodem en geologie. Daarnaast voer je uitbreidingen en wijzigingen uit aan andere onderdelen, volgens de prioriteiten uit het meerjarenprogramma.

Je werkt binnen een publiek samenwerkingsverband dat gegevens en informatie over de Vlaamse bodem en ondergrond beheert en ontsluit. Het ontwikkelteam werkt volgens de Agile-methodologie. Je levert input tijdens de maandelijkse sprintreview, de tweewekelijkse sprintplanning en de dagelijkse stand-up. Tijdens deze overlegmomenten worden resultaten geëvalueerd, werkzaamheden gepland en de voortgang afgestemd.

De prestaties worden geleverd in de lokalen in Zwijnaarde.

📝 Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt ervaring met de ontwikkeling van Java-gebaseerde toepassingen.
  • Je hebt kennis van Geomajas en GWT.
  • Je kunt werken met PostgreSQL en PostGIS.
  • Je beschikt over een aantoonbare opleiding met certificatie in programmeertalen en omgevingen zoals Java/J2EE, of over gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen de publieke sector.
  • Je kunt een ontwikkelteam leiden en ontwikkelaars coachen.
  • Je voert programmeeropdrachten vlot uit, waaronder coderen, testen en debuggen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met JavaScript-frameworks, waaronder Highcharts en/of D3.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met Agile-ontwikkelmethoden en kunt daarin een leidende rol opnemen.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met het domein van bodem en ondergrond.
