The posting

Voor een publieke organisatie in Vlaanderen zoeken we een senior Java full-stackontwikkelaar voor toepassingen rond data over bodem, ondergrond en grondwater.

📋 Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Je vertaalt functionele vereisten naar technische oplossingen en analyseert hoe deze oplossingen het best worden opgebouwd. Daarbij bewaak je de kwaliteit van de opleveringen in samenwerking met collega’s en eindgebruikers.

  • Je ontwikkelt Java-gebaseerde toepassingen en voert programmeeropdrachten vlot uit, van coderen tot testen en debuggen.
  • Je werkt aan applicaties voor het aanleveren en beheren van gegevens over grond-, bodem- en grondwatermonsters en observaties.
  • Je onderhoudt bestaande toepassingen en draagt bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van nieuwe oplossingen.
  • Je neemt deel aan de maandelijkse sprintreview, de tweewekelijkse sprintplanning en de dagelijkse stand-up van het ontwikkelteam.
  • Je draagt bij aan de verdere toepassing van een API-firststrategie. Ervaring met API-design is daarbij een pluspunt.
  • Binnen de Agile ontwikkelingsmethodiek kan je een leidende rol opnemen, een ontwikkelteam aansturen en andere ontwikkelaars coachen.

De opdracht wordt uitgevoerd in Zwijnaarde. Je werkt minimaal twee dagen per week op kantoor. Op de overige dagen kan je telewerken.

📝 Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een aantoonbare opleiding met certificering in programmeertalen en ontwikkelomgevingen zoals Java/J2EE, of beschikt over gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Je hebt ervaring met de ontwikkeling van Java-gebaseerde toepassingen, JPA/Hibernate, REST en Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
  • Je kan zelfstandig coderen, testen en debuggen.
  • Je hebt kennis van API-design.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met Maven, Git, test-driven development en testing frameworks zoals JUnit en AssertJ.
  • Je hebt ervaring met Agile ontwikkelingsmethodieken en kan daarin een leidende rol opnemen.
  • Ervaring met het leiden van een ontwikkelteam en het coachen van ontwikkelaars is vereist.
  • Ervaring binnen de publieke sector is relevant. Kennis van een Vlaamse overheidscontext is een grote troef.
  • Affiniteit met het domein bodem en ondergrond is een pluspunt.
  • Kennis van standaarden rond observaties en metingen, sensoren en bemonstering is een bijkomende troef.
