Adviseur Energie en Ondergrond Nederland gebruikt steeds meer duurzame energie, maar kan voorlopig nog niet zonder aardolie en andere delfstoffen. Dat maakt betrouwbare informatie over voorraden, winning en handel belangrijk. Als Adviseur Energie en Ondergrond houd je je bezig met de vraagstukken die daarachter liggen. Je analyseert gegevens, adviseert over de energievoorziening en helpt processen en systemen verbeteren. Daarbij schakel je met bedrijven, collega's en verschillende overheidsorganisaties. Zo krijg je een breed beeld van een energiesector die sterk verandert. Waar jij aan werkt Een belangrijk deel van je werk richt zich op de olievoorzieningszekerheid. Aardolie speelt nog altijd een belangrijke rol in de Nederlandse energievoorziening. Vanuit de Wet voorraadvorming aardolieproducten zijn bedrijven verplicht om bepaalde olievoorraden aan te houden. Jij beoordeelt maandelijks de voorraadopgaven van deze bedrijven en controleert transacties tussen bedrijven in verschillende landen. Je verwerkt en analyseert de beschikbare gegevens en zorgt ervoor dat de maandelijkse rapportages zorgvuldig en op tijd bij het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) terechtkomen. Ook adviseer je over vraagstukken zoals de omvang van de jaarlijkse voorraadplicht en beantwoord je vragen van onder andere het ministerie van Klimaat en Groene Groei (KGG). Daarnaast werk je aan de Nederlandse uitvoering van de Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI). EITI is een internationale standaard die bijdraagt aan meer transparantie over de winning van olie, gas en andere delfstoffen. Nederland gaat hierbij een nieuwe fase in: naast het uitvoeren van de EITI-standaard ligt de nadruk steeds meer op het beschikbaar maken van betrouwbare en begrijpelijke informatie die bijdraagt aan het maatschappelijke debat over de energietransitie.
