Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams am Standort Thalheim bei Wels suchen wir 1 AI Engineer (w/m/d) In dieser Rolle entwickelst du KI-Lösungen, die einen echten Mehrwert schaffen. Du arbeitest an Anwendungen rund um LLMs, RAG und agentenbasierte Systeme und begleitest Projekte vom ersten Prototyp bis zum skalierbaren Produktiveinsatz. Mit einem modernen Tech-Stack, viel Gestaltungsspielraum und einem agilen Umfeld bieten wir dir die ideale Basis, um deine Expertise einzubringen und gemeinsam KI-Technologien weiter voranzutreiben.

Deine Aufgaben:

* Spezialisierung auf Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Chatbots, agentenbasierte Systeme und Large Language Models (LLMs)

* Konzeption, Entwicklung und Integration von LLM-basierter Lösungen in bestehende Systeme

* Implementierung von Guardrails und Sicherheitskontrollen

* Aufbau und Pflege von Evaluierungs-Frameworks zur Messung von Qualität, Zuverlässigkeit und Modellperformance im Produktivbetrieb

* Entwicklung und Wartung skalierbarer KI-Dienste unter Sicherstellung von Leistung und Zuverlässigkeit

Dein Profil:

* Abgeschlossene Ausbildung (Uni oder FH) mit Schwerpunkt Data Science, IT, Software Engineering oder einer ähnlichen Fachrichtung

* Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich KI/ML und MLOps ist wünschenswert

* Praktische Erfahrung mit generativer KI, LLMs, Chatbots, RAG oder KI-Agenten

* Fundierte Kenntnisse in Software Engineering und CI/CD-Prozessen sowie Erfahrung mit Skriptsprachen wie Python und Bibliotheken wie LlamaIndex oder LangChain

Idealerweise bringst du zudem folgende Erfahrungen mit:

* Erfahrung mit Vektordatenbanken (Qdrant, Milvus) sowie semantischer und hybrider Suche

* Praktische Erfahrung mit Multi-Agenten-Frameworks wie LangGraph oder CrewAI

* Gutes Verständnis und praktische Erfahrung mit Kubernetes und Container-Orchestrierung

Unsere Löhne und Gehälter liegen über dem Kollektivvertrag (KV) der Elektro- und Elektronikindustrie. Die KV-Mindestwerte betragen zwischen € 3.888,53 und € 4.993,21 - mit Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung. Die genaue Höhe hängt von deiner Qualifikation und Erfahrung ab.
