The posting

  • Als area engineer bewaak en verbeter je de technische werking van jouw area. Je werkt daarvoor nauw samen met operatoren, techniekers, engineers en externe partners.
  • Je volgt de technische werking en prestaties van de installaties binnen jouw area op, analyseert productierapporten, logboeken, stilstanden en andere technische informatie;
  • Je onderzoekt storingen en terugkerende problemen en voert root cause analyses uit;
  • Daarnaast vertaal je analyses en vaststellingen naar concrete verbetervoorstellen;
  • Samen met collega’s bepaal je waar preventief, predictief of correctief onderhoud nodig is;
  • Je maakt werkorders aan en bereidt onderhoudswerkzaamheden voor, voert bepaalde technische taken zelf uit en volgt andere werkzaamheden op;Tevens bewaak je de planning en voortgang van onderhoud binnen jouw area;
  • Je beheert kritische wisselstukken en vraagt offertes aan voor onderdelen en werkzaamheden;
  • Je bereidt periodiek onderhoud door externe partners voor en volgt de uitvoering op, stelt onderhoudsprocedures en veiligheidsinstructies op en verbetert ze;
  • Daarbij waak je over veiligheid, kwaliteit, efficiëntie en budget binnen jouw werkgebied;
  • Je lost dus niet alleen technische problemen op. Je brengt verbeterpunten in kaart, stelt prioriteiten en zorgt ervoor dat jouw deel van de productie technisch goed blijft functioneren;
  • Het betreft een fulltime functie in dagdienst.
  • Om in aanmerking te komen voor de functie van area engineer combineer je technisch inzicht met verantwoordelijkheidszin. Je houdt graag het overzicht, maar bent ook regelmatig op de werkvloer aanwezig om zelf vast te stellen wat er speelt;
  • Daarnaast heb je een bachelor elektromechanica of ben je gelijkwaardig door relevante werkervaring;
  • Beschik je over een goede kennis van elektriciteit en automatisatie;
  • Kan je PLC-programma’s begrijpen en lezen;
  • Heb je voldoende kennis van mechanica om technische vraagstukken breed te beoordelen;
  • Is ervaring in een industriële productieomgeving een sterke troef;
  • Werk je analytisch, gestructureerd en oplossingsgericht, neem je initiatief en zet je ideeën om in concrete acties;
  • Communiceer je vlot met operatoren, techniekers, engineers en externe partners;
  • Beheers je de Nederlandse taal in verband met de veiligheid op de werkvloer en beschik je over een basiskennis Engels;
  • Is veilig werken voor jou vanzelfsprekend.
