Assistant Transport Coördinator

Jouw functie

Als Assistent Transport Coördinator ondersteun je de transport coördinatoren en team lead alsook zorg je voor een nauwkeurige administratieve verwerking van alle transportdata. In deze rol rapporteer je aan de Team Lead Transport.

Jouw takenpakket bestaat uit de volgende werkzaamheden:

  • Operationele ondersteuning: Je fungeert als back-up voor de dagelijkse taken van de transport coördinatoren (subcontracting & outbound) bij afwezigheid, drukte of grote projecten.
  • Planning & documentatie: Je werkt dagelijks operationele documenten bij i.f.v. planning en KPI’s. Daarnaast klasseer je transportdocumenten en leef je de geldende werkinstructies en procedures na en werkt deze indien nodig bij.
  • Communicatie & afstemming: Je communiceert efficiënt met interne afdelingen (zoals Purchase, Sales, Planning en Warehouse), transporteurs en collega-coördinatoren. Je vormt tevens de spil tussen de transport coördinatoren op locatie CW6 en de betrokken interne afdelingen op CW1.
  • Administratie: Je voert de dagelijkse facturatie uit van sales- en transportorders en ontvangt bezoekers en transporteurs. Je werkt alle transportdocumenten bij ter ondersteuning van jouw collega’s.
  • Vragen & douane: Alle transportvragen (met uitzondering van outbound & subcontracting) worden door jou behandeld. Je regelt alles voor inbound niet-EU transporten incl. douane.
  • Rapportage & KPI's: Je stelt transport-KPI's op, houdt deze bij en rapporteert hier maandelijks over aan jouw Team Lead Transport.
  • Continuous improvement: Je signaleert en voert optimalisaties door binnen je eigen takenpakket en werkt mee aan vernieuwende projecten op het transportdepartement alsook over verschillende departementen heen.

Jouw profiel

  • Ervaring & kennis: Je hebt al een eerste ervaring met of een sterke affiniteit voor logistiek en/of planning. De dagdagelijkse planning/logistieke organisatie is jouw comfortzone.
  • Systemen: Je bent administratief en operationeel sterk en hebt al een eerste ervaring met SAP/ERP en courante software zoals Excel.
  • Talenkennis: Je bent communicatief sterk in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk; kennis van het Frans of een andere taal is een pluspunt.
  • Communicatie & team: Je communiceert helder, professioneel en respectvol met chauffeurs, magazijniers, klanten en collega's. Je bent een echte teamplayer die ook goed zelfstandig kan werken en oog heeft voor het grotere geheel.
  • Persoonlijkheid & houding: Je bent gedreven, leergierig, beschikt over een hands-on mentaliteit en neemt je verantwoordelijkheid. Met jouw positieve ingesteldheid, empathie en gezonde dosis humor draag je bij aan een fijne werksfeer.
  • Flexibiliteit & stressbestendigheid: Je staat stevig in je schoenen, bent verdraagzaam en behoudt de rust en het overzicht in drukke of stressvolle situaties dankzij je sterke probleemoplossende vermogen. Veranderende omstandigheden schrikken jou niet af.
