Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van de core-architectuur voor foutloze, schaalbare en veilige verwerking van betalingen.
  • Bouwen van robuuste API's en integraties met banken, softwarehuizen en grote ondernemingen, inclusief technische ondersteuning bij opleveringen.
  • Aanpakken van complexe uitdagingen rondom retries, concurrent verwerken en het afvangen van externe systeemstoringen.
  • Identificeren en verhelpen van knelpunten in queries, datamodellen en verwerkingssnelheid naarmate het volume groeit.
  • Oplossen en analyseren van productie-incidenten tijdens kantooruren (er geldt geen on-call / storingsdienst).
  • Kritisch beoordelen van (door AI gegenereerde) code op kwaliteit, veiligheid en onderhoudbaarheid voor deze naar productie gaat.

Profiel & Vereisten

  • Ervaring: Meerdere jaren werkervaring als back-end developer met Java en Spring. Kennis van Go is een pluspunt of kan snel worden aangeleerd.
  • Databases: Grondige kennis van relationele databases (bij voorkeur PostgreSQL), waaronder query-optimalisatie, indexering en transactiebeheer.
  • Architectuur: Uitstekend inzicht in concurrency, foutsituaties (failure modes) en het ontwerpen van fouttolerante systemen.
  • Kwaliteit: Ervaring met het analyseren en structureel oplossen van productie-incidenten en een focus op het schrijven van schone, testbare en onderhoudbare code.
  • Eigenaarschap: Een zelfstandige werkhouding, sterke communicatieve vaardigheden om technische keuzes en afwegingen te onderbouwen, en de bereidheid om actieve code-reviews te geven en te ontvangen.
  • Talen: Vloeiende beheersing van het Engels. Kennis van het Nederlands is een duidelijke troef.
  • Locatie & Tijdzone: Woonachtig in een tijdzone binnen +/- 1 uur van CET ter bevordering van een goede samenwerking tijdens de dagelijkse stand-ups.
  • Achtergrond: Ervaring in FinTech, de bankensector of betalingsverkeer is een pluspunt. Aantoonbare ervaring en praktijkkennis wegen zwaarder dan een specifiek diploma.
