Je bent veel op de bouwplaats aanwezig en bewaakt de voortgang, kwaliteit en veiligheid. Je controleert werkzaamheden, signaleert afwijkingen en bespreekt deze met de betrokken partijen. Waar nodig stuur je bij om het project op koers te houden. Daarnaast vorm je de schakel tussen uitvoerders, adviseurs, projectleiders en andere betrokken partijen. Tijdens bouwvergaderingen bespreek je de voortgang, breng je knelpunten in kaart en denk je mee over praktische oplossingen. Je rapporteert over de uitvoering en houdt de opdrachtgever goed op de hoogte. Een functie voor een bouwmanager die onafhankelijk en kritisch opereert, technisch sterk is en vanuit het belang van de opdrachtgever zorgt dat kwaliteit, planning en gemaakte afspraken worden bewaakt.
