Als Coördinator Project Beheersing is de kandidaat binnen multidisciplinaire projectteams verantwoordelijk voor de integrale projectbeheersing van meerdere projecten tegelijkertijd. De werkzaamheden vinden plaats binnen een veelzijdig projectenportfolio, variërend in omvang en discipline: van kleine tot grote projecten, van civiele werken en GWW-projecten tot vastgoed- en vaartuigprojecten. Dit alles binnen een dynamische omgeving die continu in ontwikkeling is. De rol is van essentieel belang voor het succesvol uitvoeren van projecten. De coördinator projectbeheersing stelt samen met de projectteams gedegen projectplanningen op en bewaakt de voortgang. Door het stellen van kritische vragen worden risico's tijdig geïdentificeerd, vastgelegd en gemonitord, waarbij voortdurend aandacht is voor passende beheersmaatregelen. Daarnaast houdt de coördinator nauwlettend toezicht op de projectfinanciën en de financiële voortgang. Met het projectmanagementsysteem Celon als belangrijk hulpmiddel zorgt de coördinator ervoor dat de beheersaspecten planning, risico's en financiën beheerst en inzichtelijk blijven, zodat projectteams niet voor verrassingen komen te staan.
