Als Continuous Improvement Engineer speel je een actieve rol in het verbeteren van productieprocessen, productkwaliteit en operationele prestaties binnen industriële omgevingen in Limburg, Vlaams-Brabant, de Kempen of Antwerpen.

De functie brengt techniek, data en samenwerking samen op de productievloer. Door kwaliteitsissues structureel aan te pakken en verbeteropportuniteiten om te zetten in concrete acties, draag je bij aan stabielere processen, minder verlies en een sterker rendement.

Wat ga je doen?

Procesverbetering en kwaliteitsborging

  • Analyseren van productieprocessen en detecteren van opportuniteiten om kwaliteit, rendement en efficiëntie te verhogen.
  • Opvolgen en optimaliseren van werkmethodes, machine-efficiëntie en procesprestaties op een economisch verantwoorde manier.
  • Uitvoeren, vastleggen en opvolgen van product- en procesaudits om de stabiliteit van processen te versterken.
  • Bewaken dat procedures correct worden gevolgd en dat verbeteracties duurzaam worden verankerd.
  • Ondersteunen van procesborging via onder meer SPC, R&R-analyses en kwaliteitsmetingen.

Operationele opvolging en verbeterprojecten

  • Dagelijks samenwerken met productie-, kwaliteits- en engineeringteams op de werkvloer.
  • Opvolgen van scrap meetings en vertalen van kwaliteitsafwijkingen naar gerichte verbeteracties.
  • Deelnemen aan productie- en kwaliteitsmeetings en omzetten van bevindingen naar duidelijke actielijsten.
  • Kritisch beoordelen van inkomende materialen en afstemmen met interne stakeholders over structurele kwaliteitsverbeteringen.
  • Ondersteunen bij de introductie van nieuwe producten, inclusief meetmiddelen, processtabiliteit en kwaliteitsborging.
  • Wie ben jij? Je hebt een masterdiploma in Industriële Wetenschappen, Ingenieurswetenschappen of een gelijkwaardige ervaring binnen een technische productieomgeving. Je hebt kennis van of interesse in R&R, OEE, SPC, ERP, MES, WMS, CAQ en product- of procesaudits. Je werkt vlot met MS Office en communiceert professioneel in het Nederlands en Engels. Je voelt je aangesproken door Lean, Operational Excellence, QRM en continue verbetering binnen industriële processen. Je hebt aandacht voor veiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu, ergonomie en bedrijfseconomische impact. Je neemt initiatief, werkt graag samen met verschillende teams en weet verbeteringen op een duidelijke manier in beweging te krijgen.
