Als Data Modelling Analyst werk je samen met je collega's aan het creëren, onderhouden en beheren van centrale datastores die als inputbron dienen voor andere applicaties binnen onze organisatie.

Wat doe je concreet?

Je werkt mee aan integratie- en dataprojecten waarbij je in kaart brengt welke data centraal moet worden bijgehouden en beheerd. Je verzamelt de functionele requirements voor de betrokken datastore en vertaalt deze naar een helder datamodel, dat vervolgens verder wordt uitgewerkt door technische designers en developers.

Je neemt actief deel aan workshops om de mappings tussen applicaties en de centrale datastore te bespreken en te aligneren. In samenspraak met technische collega's maak je weloverwogen keuzes over het type database en de ontsluiting ervan — voornamelijk via webservices in een AWS-omgeving.

Daarnaast neem je deel aan integratietesten en ondersteun je de gebruikerstesten. Na livegang draag je bij aan de ondersteuning en het beheer van de systemen.

Je combineert proceskennis met analytisch vermogen: je begrijpt de databehoefte vanuit functioneel perspectief, schrijft heldere specificaties én werkt het datamodel uit dat als basis dient voor de databaseopbouw.

Jouw expertisedomein omvat onder meer:

  • MDM — kennis van Master Data Management is een pluspunt; sommige databases worden volgens dit concept opgezet, andere eerder operationeel.
  • SQL — een must om de nodige technische ondersteuning te kunnen bieden.
  • AI — bij voorkeur heb je ervaring met het inzetten van AI ter ondersteuning van analyse en testing.
  • GDPR & security — aangezien we werken met gevoelige persoonsdata, zijn audit, privacy en beveiliging geen bijzaak. Als analist ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken en verankeren van deze topics in elk design.
  • Je blikt terug op verschillende jaren ervaring binnen het domein rond datamodellering.
  • Je hebt ervaring in het gebruik van AI tools voor de ondersteuning van analyses & testen.
  • Dankzij jouw vlotte communicatieskills bouw je gemakkelijk professionele en constructieve relaties uit, zowel met de interne klant als met leveranciers.
  • Als teamplayer hou je ervan om samen met je collega’s resultaten en successen te behalen, maar je haalt evenzeer voldoening uit autonoom werken.
  • De volgende technische skills zijn een pluspunt: Tools: Postman, Bruno, Jira, confluence Databases: Oracle DB, MS SQL, PostGress, Aurora DB, Document DB Begrippen: ISO27001, GDPR, MDM, ETL, UML AI: Claude
