Onze klant is marktleider in diepe funderingen in België en maakt deel uit van een internationale bouwgroep. Jaarlijks realiseert de organisatie meer dan 500 projecten in uiteenlopende sectoren, waaronder woningbouw, industrie, energie en infrastructuur. Het team begeleidt projecten vanaf de voorbereidende studies tot en met de uiteindelijke uitvoering en ontwikkelt funderingsoplossingen die afgestemd zijn op elke specifieke uitdaging. Met meer dan honderd jaar ervaring, internationale activiteiten en een eigen onderzoeksafdeling beschikt onze klant over een sterke technische basis. Tegelijk blijft de organisatie voortdurend evolueren en inspelen op nieuwe uitdagingen. Het Engineeringteam werkt mee aan internationale technische onderzoeken, vakliteratuur, academische samenwerkingen en normalisatiecomités. Zo krijg je de kans om bij te dragen aan technisch uitdagende projecten met een zichtbare impact.

Jobomschrijving

Hoe maak jij complexe projecten haalbaar?

  • Als Design / Geotechnical Engineer werk je vanuit Saintes mee aan complexe funderingsprojecten voor woningbouw, industrie, energie en infrastructuur. Je technische bijdrage helpt om elk project veilig, haalbaar en economisch onderbouwd uit te voeren.
  • Technische voorstudies vormen de basis voor commerciële offertes: je analyseert de context, vergelijkt uitvoeringsvarianten en vertaalt geotechnische uitdagingen naar concrete oplossingen.
  • Voor verkoopteams en projectleiders werk je innovatieve funderingsconcepten uit, inclusief technische onderbouwing, risico-inschattingen en aandacht voor mogelijke optimalisaties.
  • Bij ontwerpvraagstukken ondersteun je de Project Manager en stem je af met architecten, studiebureaus, bouwheren, controleorganismen en andere externe partners.
  • Technische en economische optimalisatiestudies voer je zelfstandig uit of begeleid je. Zo bewaak je niet alleen de technische kwaliteit, maar ook de uitvoerbaarheid en efficiëntie van de gekozen oplossing.
  • Tijdens kick-offvergaderingen en de uitvoeringsfase breng je jouw expertise in. Je ondersteunt werven, helpt method statements ontwikkelen en vertaalt ontwerpkeuzes naar duidelijke richtlijnen voor de praktijk.
  • Samen met het Engineeringteam werk je aan vernieuwing rond onder meer hergebruik, nieuwe materialen, innovatieve technieken en berekeningsmethodes. Daardoor zie je jouw ideeën evolueren van studie naar toepassing.

Ben jij sterk in analyse én samenwerking en combineer je nauwkeurigheid met een creatieve ingesteldheid?

  • Je hebt een opleiding als geotechnisch, civiel of industrieel ingenieur.
  • Je brengt ongeveer 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring mee binnen een constructieomgeving, geotechnisch ingenieursbureau of een vergelijkbare technische context. Daardoor kan je snel verbanden leggen tussen ontwerp, risico’s en uitvoering.
  • Een professionele beheersing van het Frans en het Engels helpt je om technische informatie helder te bespreken met interne en externe partners.
  • Je analyseert complexe informatie kritisch en synthetiseert die tot een duidelijke, onderbouwde aanbeveling. Nauwkeurigheid is belangrijk, maar je behoudt ook ruimte voor creatieve alternatieven.
  • Je communiceert gestructureerd, werkt graag samen en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je adviezen. Die combinatie is essentieel om verschillende belangen te verbinden en technische beslissingen werkbaar te maken.
