Jij doet er toe en bouwt graag mee aan een beter Rotra Air & Ocean! Werken bij Rotra Air & Ocean is meer dan alleen het afhandelen van zendingen. Je denkt en kijkt mee over hoe het beter, sneller en slimmer kan om samen met je team de schouders eronder te zetten!

Als Export Operations Consultant Air ben je verantwoordelijk voor de complete coördinatie en verwerking van luchtvrachtzendingen. De service die jij levert voldoet 100% aan de verwachtingen van de klant en dit levert voor beide partijen een optimaal resultaat op. Jij bent de spin in het web, zo stem jij de aard van de opdrachten af, volgt en administreert zendingen nauwlettend, vraagt de benodigde informatie en documenten op, adviseert opdrachtgevers en maakt afspraken over bijvoorbeeld afhaalinstructies en/of bijzonderheden. Je volgt de bestaande procedures, maakt klantgerichte werkinstructies en zorgt voor een consequente opvolging hiervan. Je communiceert servicegericht naar klanten, agenten en leveranciers. Daarnaast onderhandel je dagelijks met luchtvaartmaatschappijen, maakt boekingen en draagt zorg voor een goede relatie.

Naast de noodzakelijke vakinhoudelijke bagage beschik je over de talenten en vaardigheden die passen bij deze rol. Je bent een gedreven en ambitieuze specialist met een passie voor logistiek. Een uitdaging ga je niet uit de weg en van hectiek gaat jouw bloed sneller stromen. Je bent operationeel nauwkeurig en hebt commerciële gedrevenheid. Je bent iemand die geen problemen maar uitdagingen ziet.

Verder heb je / ben je:

  • Minimaal een afgeronde opleiding met voorkeur richting logistiek.
  • Werkervaring in een vergelijkbare functie geniet de voorkeur.
  • Goede contactuele eigenschappen, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Flexibele en proactieve instelling.
  • Goede kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift, Frans is een pré.
  • Kennis van wet- en regelgeving m.b.t. de functie is een pré.
