The posting

Als Financial Analyst ondersteun je het Finance team bij de financiële opvolging van onderzoek en ontwikkeling, verkoop- en algemene beheerskosten en cashactiviteiten. Je verzamelt en controleert financiële gegevens en vertaalt deze naar overzichtelijke rapporteringen en presentaties.

Je werkt mee aan budgetten, forecasts en kostenanalyses. Daarnaast zet je Power BI en AI-technologie in om dashboards, rapportering en processen verder te verbeteren. Je rapporteert aan de Finance & Cost Manager en werkt nauw samen met controllers, financecollega’s en andere afdelingen.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Verzamelen, controleren en consolideren van financiële gegevens.
  • Ondersteunen bij de voorbereiding van budgetten en forecasts.
  • Voorbereiden van maandelijkse rapporteringen en bijbehorende presentaties.
  • Opstellen van geplande en ad-hoc rapportages.
  • Opvolgen van kosten en analyseren van verschillen tussen werkelijke resultaten en budgetten.
  • Voorbereiden van financiële overzichten en terugkerende rapporteringen voor het Finance team.
  • Ondersteunen van de financiële opvolging van R&D-projecten en ondersteunende afdelingen.
  • Mee bewaken van een correcte registratie en toewijzing van kosten.
  • Uitvoeren van ad-hoc financiële analyses en ondersteunen bij businesscases.
  • Verbeteren van financiële rapporten, tools en processen.
  • Inzetten van Power BI en AI voor inzichtelijke dashboards, automatisering en efficiëntere rapportering.
  • Samenwerken met collega’s binnen Finance en de business.
  • Een masterdiploma in finance, economie of een verwante richting is vereist.
  • Relevante ervaring binnen finance, controlling, audit of accounting vormt je basis.
  • Gevorderde, praktische expertise in Power BI combineer je met een grondige kennis van recente AI-technologieën.
  • Dashboards ontwikkelen, processen automatiseren en financiële rapportering verbeteren behoren tot je vaardigheden.
  • Affiniteit met cijfers gaat samen met sterke analytische vaardigheden.
  • Nauwkeurigheid, structuur en oog voor detail kenmerken je werk.
  • Een leergierige houding stimuleert je om vragen te stellen en je kennis verder uit te bouwen.
  • Initiatief nemen en samenwerken binnen een team gaan je vlot af.
  • Heldere communicatie helpt je om af te stemmen met collega’s uit verschillende afdelingen.
  • Nederlands en Engels beheers je vloeiend.
  • Gedrevenheid en motivatie ondersteunen je verdere groei in de functie.
