Voor een internationale marktleider in de chemische sector zoekt The Corner Office een Financial & Business Controller die een stevige financiële basis combineert met de ambitie om door te groeien naar een strategische controllingrol.

Je komt terecht in een finance team van drie collega’s en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Finance Manager. In eerste instantie ligt de nadruk op financial controlling & rapportering. Naarmate je de organisatie beter leert kennen, krijg je steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid binnen business controlling, analyses en besluitvorming.

Je werkt nauw samen met finance, operations en management en levert inzichten die bijdragen aan betere prestaties en verdere groei van de organisatie.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ondersteunen van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen
  • Opvolgen van financiële rapportering en resultatenanalyses
  • Analyseren van voorraadwaarderingen, investeringen (CAPEX) en rendementen
  • Ontwikkelen van KPI-rapporteringen, dashboards en managementrapporten
  • Uitvoeren van variantie-, marge- en rendabiliteitsanalyses
  • Ondersteunen van budget-, forecast- en businessplanningsprocessen
  • Optimaliseren van interne controles en financiële processen
  • Fungeren als sparringpartner voor management en operationele afdelingen
  • Identificeren van opportuniteiten rond kostenbeheersing, efficiëntie en performantieverbetering
  • Je hebt reeds ervaring opgebouwd binnen controlling, audit of corporate finance en bent klaar voor een volgende stap waarin je meer impact kunt maken op de business.
  • Ervaring binnen financial controlling, business controlling of audit
  • Een sterke basis in accounting en financiële rapportering
  • Een analytische en data-gedreven mindset
  • Goede kennis van Excel en ervaring met reporting- of BI-tools
  • Het vermogen om financiële informatie helder te vertalen naar niet-financiële stakeholders
  • Een proactieve houding en een natuurlijke drive om processen te verbeteren
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Nederlands en Engels; kennis van het Frans is een plus
  • Ervaring met Microsoft Dynamics AX is mooi meegenomen
