The posting

Als Financial Controller ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de financiële administratie en rapportages van de Nederlandse organisatie. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de General Manager en bent een belangrijke financiële sparringpartner voor het lokale management. Daarnaast onderhoud je regelmatig contact met het internationale hoofdkantoor. Als Financial Controller geef je leiding aan een ervaren administrateur, die de organisatie en haar financiële processen door en door kent. Samen zorgen jullie voor een correcte en tijdige periodieke afsluiting. Jullie hebben dagelijks contact, stemmen de werkzaamheden nauw met elkaar af en ondersteunen elkaar waar nodig. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden: - Functioneel aansturen van de financiële administratie en coördineren van de crediteuren-, debiteuren- en payrollprocessen; - Beheren en controleren van het grootboek, de balansspecificaties en subadministraties; - Verzorgen van de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluiting en de bijbehorende rapportages; - Rapporteren aan en beantwoorden van financiële vragen vanuit het hoofdkantoor en andere internationale stakeholders; - Opstellen van budgetten, forecasts, cashflowprognoses en managementrapportages; - Analyseren van financiële resultaten, KPI’s en afwijkingen en adviseren van het management; - Bewaken van liquiditeit, werkkapitaal, fiscale aangiften en financiële compliance; - Het opstellen van de jaarrekening en coördineren van de accountantscontrole; - Optimaliseren en automatiseren van financiële processen, systemen en interne controles; - Meebouwen aan de verdere groei en professionalisering van de Finance-afdeling. Over het bedrijf: Onze opdrachtgever is een internationale logistieke dienstverlener, gespecialiseerd in luchtvracht, zeevracht, wegtransport en supplychain management. Vanuit de vestiging nabij Schiphol worden klanten wereldwijd ondersteund met efficiënte en op maat gemaakte logistieke oplossingen. De organisatie combineert een persoonlijke, lokale aanpak met de mo.

- Een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in Finance, Bedrijfseconomie, Accountancy of een vergelijkbare richting; - Minimaal twee jaar werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie; - Ervaring met periodieke afsluitingen en het opstellen van financiële rapportages en analyses; - Ervaring met het opstellen en bewaken van budgetten en financiële forecasts is een pré; - Ervaring met het voorbereiden en begeleiden van externe accountantscontroles; - Goede kennis van Excel en ervaring met financiële systemen; - Een analytische, zelfstandige en proactieve werkhouding; - Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een uitstekende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal.
