Wegens een tijdelijke vermeerdering van de werkdruk is onze klant op zoek naar een Freight Forwarder op interim-basis voor een initiele periode van 6 maanden, met een opstart zo snel mogelijk (ASAP). In deze rol ben je de spilfiguur voor de coordinatie en operationele opvolging van nationale en internationale transporten via weg, spoor, zee en lucht. Je fungeert als het centrale aanspreekpunt voor klanten, rederijen, vervoerders en interne stakeholders om een vlekkeloze supply chain te garanderen. Dankzij jouw minimum 4 jaar ervaring in de sector switch je moeiteloos tussen dossierbeheer, douaneformaliteiten en administratieve opvolging in SharePoint. Stressbestendigheid en zelfstandigheid zijn cruciaal, aangezien je vanaf dag een de verantwoordelijkheid draagt over complexe zendingen. Je bewaakt de transittijden, informeert klanten proactief over kosten en statussen, en zorgt voor een feilloze administratieve overdracht. Dit is een ideale opportuniteit voor een senior expediteur die houdt van een vliegende start en onmiddellijke impact wil maken.

Wat biedt onze klant?

  • Een tijdelijke interim-opdracht van 6 maanden met een opstart per direct (ASAP).
  • Marktconform loon aangevuld met maaltijdcheques van € 9 per gewerkte dag (die vanaf 01/12/2026 stijgen naar € 10).
  • Een werkweek van 37 uur met flexibele werktijden (kerntijden tussen 10:00u en 15:00u) en de mogelijkheid tot 1 dag telewerk per week na een succesvolle inwerkperiode.
  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor in logistiek, supply chain, internationale handel, of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Minimum 3 tot 5 jaar (bij voorkeur 4+ jaar) relevante ervaring als Freight Forwarder is een absolute must.
  • Sterke operationele kennis van freight forwarding, logistieke processen en transportdocumentatie.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Een actueel IMDG-certificaat is een zeer sterke troef.
  • Je bent nauwkeurig, stressbestendig, klantgericht en in staat om volledig zelfstandig prioriteiten te beheren.
  • Organiseren en end-to-end opvolgen van multimodale transporten (weg, spoor, zee en lucht), inclusief afvaarten, railcars en VGM.
  • Zelfstandig opmaken, verwerken en controleren van transport- en verschepingsdocumenten (o.a. Bill of Lading, Letter of Instruction, Dispatch Advices, Mate's Receipts).
  • Ontvangen en verwerken van douanedocumenten, en het up-to-date houden van transportinformatie en procedures in SharePoint.
  • Proactief informeren van klanten omtrent kosten, transittijden en de actuele status van hun zendingen.
  • Opstellen en versturen van nauwkeurige container- en cargolijsten, en zorgen voor een vlotte operationele overdracht binnen het team.
