Robert Half is currently recruiting a Junior Accountant (M/V/X) - Antwerp.

The scope of responsibilities for this job as a Junior Accountant (M/V/X) include:

  • You support the day-to-day accounting activities across multiple group entities and help ensure financial records are accurate, complete and up to date.
  • You process invoices, bank transactions and journal entries, and contribute to the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
  • You assist in monitoring balance sheet accounts and help maintain a high level of financial accuracy and compliance.
  • You contribute to the preparation of periodic financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • You support the preparation of statutory financial statements, audit documentation, reconciliations and balance sheet analyses.
  • You help optimize and standardize accounting and financial processes within an evolving finance organization.
  • You support the implementation of internal controls and accounting policies to strengthen the control environment and improve efficiency.
  • You assist with finance-related projects, analyses and administrative tasks, and provide support to colleagues with financial questions.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in accountancy, Finance or a related field, combined with around three years of relevant professional experience.
  • You have strong technical skills and an excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
  • You have experience with SAP or another ERP system, which is considered a strong asset.
  • You have a basic knowledge of IFRS, which is an advantage.
  • You have an interest in or experience with real estate and/or private equity structures.
  • You are analytical, accurate, proactive and eager to learn.
  • You work well in a team and communicate smoothly with colleagues.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
