Voor onze klant, een Belgische speler met een sterke positie binnen productie en distributie, ben ik op zoek naar een Senior System & Network Engineer in regio Temse.

De organisatie combineert een lange geschiedenis met een moderne, sterk geautomatiseerde werking en telt enkele honderden medewerkers. Vanuit verschillende locaties staat een ervaren team dagelijks in voor de productie, logistiek en distributie van een uitgebreid aanbod aan klanten. Door de verdere groei en digitalisering wordt ook de IT-infrastructuur steeds belangrijker.

Je komt terecht in een stabiele organisatie met korte communicatielijnen, waar je als Senior System & Network Engineer een belangrijke rol krijgt in het beheer, de beveiliging en verdere uitbouw van de IT-infrastructuur.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Beheren, monitoren en optimaliseren van de volledige IT-infrastructuur, waaronder Windows- en Linux-servers, Storage, virtualisatie, back-ups, disaster recovery en cloudomgevingen.
  • Ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van LAN-, WAN-, WLAN- en VPN-netwerken, inclusief switches, routers, Firewalls en load balancers.
  • Bewaken van de cybersecurity en instaan voor identity & access management, netwerksegmentatie, toegangscontrole en het opvolgen van kwetsbaarheden.
  • Leiden van cloud-, migratie- en moderniseringsprojecten en ondersteunen van de implementatie en integratie van AI-, Copilot- en generatieve AI-oplossingen.
  • Fungeren als technisch aanspreekpunt voor complexe incidenten, ondersteunen van gebruikers en collega's, coachen van teamleden en samenwerken met leveranciers en externe partners.
  • Je hebt een Bachelor of Master in IT of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring en hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in systeem- en netwerkbeheer binnen een complexe IT-omgeving.
  • Je hebt een sterke technische kennis van Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune en Exchange Online, aangevuld met ervaring in VMware, Hyper-V en/of Proxmox.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van TCP/IP, VLAN's, routing, switching, VPN, Firewalls, cloud, back-up en disaster recovery en weet hoe je een performante en veilige infrastructuur beheert.
  • Je hebt ervaring met monitoring en automatisatie en werkt bijvoorbeeld met PowerShell, Bash of Python. Kennis van Docker, Kubernetes of relevante certificeringen zoals Microsoft, Cisco, VMware of Security+ is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent analytisch, zelfstandig en communicatief sterk, spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels en vindt het leuk om kennis te delen, collega's te ondersteunen en mee te denken over technische verbeteringen.
