Je gaat aan de slag bij een gevestigd productiebedrijf in West-Vlaanderen, regio Roeselare, dat deel uitmaakt van een internationale groep. Op de site worden technische materialen geproduceerd die uiteindelijk terechtkomen in uiteenlopende toepassingen binnen onder meer gezondheidszorg, bouw en industrie. Achter die productie staat een uitgebreide operationele werking waarin veiligheid, kwaliteit en een correcte verzending belangrijk zijn. Binnen de onderneming blijft tegelijkertijd veel aandacht bestaan voor opleiding, samenwerking en betrokkenheid op de werkvloer.

Als magazijnmedewerker kom je terecht aan het einde van het productieproces, waar magazijn, productie en verzending nauw op elkaar aansluiten. Je bent dagelijks actief binnen een omgeving waar laden, goederenverplaatsing en verzending centraal staan. Zelf ligt jouw focus voornamelijk op het correct laden van afgewerkte goederen in vrachtwagens zodat alles tijdig klaarstaat voor vertrek.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Afgewerkte producten worden door jou manueel in vrachtwagens geladen, waarbij fysiek werk een belangrijk onderdeel van de job vormt
  • Tijdens het laden maak je hoofdzakelijk gebruik van een uitschuifbare transportband om de goederen efficiënt te verplaatsen
  • Waar nodig zet je ook een heftruck in ter ondersteuning van de laadwerkzaamheden
  • Een correcte belading staat centraal, met voortdurend aandacht voor kwaliteit, veiligheid, orde en netheid
  • Samen met je collega's zorg je ervoor dat de vrachtwagens tijdig en correct geladen klaarstaan voor vertrek
  • Je hebt relevante ervaring als lader, magazijnier of logistiek medewerker, bent gewend aan fysiek en manueel werk en hebt ervaring met een heftruck
  • Werken in een omgeving waar een deel van de taken buiten plaatsvindt vormt voor jou geen probleem
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands is noodzakelijk om werkinstructies en veiligheidsvoorschriften correct te begrijpen en toe te passen
