Voor een ambitieuze en snelgroeiende KMO in de regio Tielt zoeken we een mechanisch ontwerper. Deze gespecialiseerde speler ontwerpt en bouwt geavanceerde totaalinstallaties op maat van klanten in de procesindustrie, met een uitgesproken focus op toepassingen binnen de voedingssector. Hun installaties, vervaardigd uit hoogwaardig roestvrij staal, staan internationaal bekend om hun kwaliteit, duurzaamheid en klantgerichte aanpak. Elk project wordt volledig op maat uitgewerkt en begeleid: van het eerste ontwerp tot de installatie en opstart bij de klant. Deze end-to-end aanpak garandeert technische precisie en een maximale klanttevredenheid.

Dankzij hun diepgaande expertise en innovatieve oplossingen zijn zij voor veel klanten een vaste partner in het optimaliseren van productieprocessen. Met een team van ongeveer 40 enthousiaste medewerkers combineren ze de flexibiliteit van een KMO met een internationale mindset en groeiambitie.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • In eerste instantie vertaal je de projectvereisten naar duidelijke mechanische ontwerpen en technische tekeningen voor nieuwe machines
  • Daarnaast zorg je ervoor dat het productieteam beschikt over gedetailleerde plannen waarmee de constructie vlot en correct kan verlopen
  • Om dit te garanderen volg je de productie nauwgezet op en stuur je bij waar nodig
  • Verder overleg je met de productieverantwoordelijke en monteurs over mogelijke aanpassingen of optimalisaties aan het ontwerp
  • Samen met je collega-engineers streef je voortdurend naar verfijning en verbeteringen van de bestaande systemen
  • Tot slot denk je actief mee over innovatieve oplossingen en productverbeteringen die bijdragen aan de kwaliteit en efficiëntie
  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in Elektromechanica, Ontwerp- en Productietechnologie of een aanverwante technische richting
  • Daarnaast heb je minstens twee jaar ervaring als mechanisch ontwerper binnen de machinebouw
  • Kennis van Creo of een vergelijkbaar 3D-tekenpakket is een belangrijk pluspunt
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, en basiskennis van Frans of Engels is mooi meegenomen
