The posting

Voor een groeiende technische KMO gespecialiseerd in machinebouw en metaalconstructies wordt een ervaren Mechanisch Ontwerper gezocht.

De ontwerper krijgt verantwoordelijkheid over uiteenlopende projecten zoals transportsystemen voor bulkgoederen, trechters, bunkers en andere industriële metaalconstructies. Het gaat om een functie met veel autonomie waarbij ontwerp, techniek en praktische projectopvolging sterk samenkomen.

Als Mechanisch Ontwerper staat de medewerker van A tot Z in voor het technisch ontwerp en de opvolging van verschillende constructies en machinebouwprojecten.

Het takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Uitvoeren van technische opmetingen bij klanten.
  • Ontwerpen en volledig uittekenen van projecten in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Technische oplossingen uitwerken voor transportsystemen, trechters, bunkers en andere metaalconstructies.
  • Bespreken van ontwerpen en technische oplossingen met de klant.
  • Overleggen met de Projectleider om tot de beste technische en praktisch uitvoerbare oplossing te komen.
  • Aanpassen en optimaliseren van ontwerpen op basis van technische feedback.
  • Verwerken van wijzigingen en eventuele technische aanpassingen in het ontwerp.
  • Signaleren aan Sales wanneer wijzigingen een invloed kunnen hebben op de uiteindelijke kostprijs.
  • Opmaken en finaal afleveren van correcte productie- en ontwerptekeningen.
  • Uitvoeren van prijsaanvragen voor de benodigde materialen.
  • Bestellen van materialen in overleg met de Projectleider.
  • Zorgen dat alle benodigde onderdelen en bevestigingsmaterialen correct voorzien zijn.
  • Opmaken en doorgeven van duidelijke montageplannen.
  • Opvolgen van de uitvoering in de eigen werkplaats.
  • Technische afstemming met productie en montage.
  • Opvolgen van het project tot en met de uiteindelijke montage bij de klant.
  • Beschikt over een bachelordiploma in een technische richting, zoals mechanica of elektromechanica.
  • Heeft minimaal 3 jaar relevante ervaring binnen metaalconstructies en/of machinebouw.
  • Heeft een grondige en praktische kennis van Autodesk Inventor.
  • Kan zelfstandig mechanische constructies ontwerpen en technisch uitwerken.
  • Heeft een sterk inzicht in mechanica, constructies en maakbaarheid.
  • Kan technische opmetingen uitvoeren en deze correct vertalen naar een ontwerp.
  • Begrijpt hoe een ontwerp uiteindelijk geproduceerd en gemonteerd moet worden.
  • Is hands-on en zoekt naar praktische, technisch haalbare oplossingen.
  • Durft verantwoordelijkheid te nemen over het eigen project.
  • Kan zelfstandig werken en dagelijkse prioriteiten flexibel organiseren.
  • Communiceert vlot met klanten, Projectleiding, Sales, productie en montage.
  • Is gedreven, nauwkeurig en oplossingsgericht.
  • Functioneert zowel autonoom als binnen een technisch team.
  • Beschikt over een goede operationele kennis van Frans en Engels.
