De functie In de functie van Medewerker Groen ben jij dagelijks buiten bezig met het onderhoud en de zorg voor het groen in de wijken en parken van Amsterdam. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de stad in alle seizoenen prachtig, groen en goed onderhouden blijft. Of het nu gaat om het snoeien van bomen, het maaien van grasvelden of het onderhouden van plantsoenen, jij zorgt ervoor dat het buitenleven in de stad altijd in topconditie is. Je werkt vanuit onze stadswerf in Oost, De werkzaamheden zijn seizoensgebonden, waardoor je elke dag andere taken hebt en het werk nooit saai is - geen dag is hetzelfde! Je werkt met collega's en zelfstandig om de groene plekken in de stad netjes en mooi te houden. Je ziet wat gedaan moet worden en doet dit meteen, zoals snoeien of bloemperken verzorgen. Je let ook op zwerfafval en andere problemen in de openbare ruimte en meldt dit. Zo help je mee om Amsterdam schoon, veilig en prettig te maken voor iedereen. Dit doe je op een gemiddelde dag - Jij zorgt ervoor dat het groen er perfect bij staat, door zowel mechanisch als met de hand te maaien. - Je voert grondwerkzaamheden uit, snoeit op een efficiënte manier vanaf de grond en/of met machines, en houdt alles in topconditie. - Met de bosmaaier ga jij aan de slag, graaf je plantgaten en zorg je ervoor dat de planten de beste zorg krijgen. - Je houdt de groenvoorzieningen in topvorm door schoffelen, harken, bemesten en andere onderhoudswerkzaamheden met zorg en aandacht uit te voeren. - Je draagt bij aan een duurzame werkwijze door het snoeiafval zoveel mogelijk opnieuw te gebruiken in het ...
