The posting

Voor een gespecialiseerde producent actief in metaalverwerking (regio Ranst) zoeken we een doortastende en meewerkend Teamlead Magazijn & WMS. Geen kantoortijger die achter een bureau blijft zitten, maar een echte hands-on aanpakker die de heftruck opkruipt, orde brengt en het gloednieuwe magazijn van een basiswerking naar een geoliede operatie helpt tillen. Heb jij ervaring op de magazijnvloer, gevoel voor structuur en zin om mee te bouwen aan de opstart van een nieuw ERP/WMS-systeem? Dan is dit jouw project.

Takenpakket

Als meewerkend magazijnverantwoordelijke sta je met beide voeten in de praktijk. Je bent de spilfiguur in het nieuwe magazijngebouw, werkt actief mee met het orderpicken en laden/lossen, en stuurt je collega op de vloer aan. Je zorgt voor een logische stockindeling, plaatst kleinere bestellingen en stemt dagelijks af met aankoop, productie en aftersales. In deze rol combineer je het actieve magazijnwerk met het structureren, inrichten en digitaliseren van het logistieke proces.

In het kort:

  • Je steekt dagelijks de handen uit de mouwen: je voert orderpicking uit, laadt en lost vrachten en bestuurt vlot de heftruck.
  • Je richt het magazijngebouw overzichtelijk in, verfijnt de looproutes, bepaalt logische stockzones en bewaakt de veiligheid en netheid.
  • Je helpt mee aan de opstart en verdere uitrol van een nieuw WMS-systeem door processen in kaart te brengen en artikeldata nauwkeurig te registreren.
  • Je geeft duidelijke sturing aan je collega op de vloer, vangt afwezigheden op en plaatst zelfstandig bestellingen voor verbruiks- en werkmateriaal.
  • Je overlegt nauw met de aankoopverantwoordelijke, de productiemanager en de service manager (after sales) om wisselstukken en maatspecifieke onderdelen tijdig klaar te hebben.

Wie we zoeken

  • Je hebt ruime ervaring binnen een magazijn- of productieomgeving en hebt jezelf op de werkvloer bewezen (een leidinggevende titel is géén vereiste, wel een no-nonsense en meewerkende mentaliteit).
  • Je werkt vlot met de pc, hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen en vindt het uitdagend om mee te bouwen aan de opzet van een digitaal voorraadsysteem (Business Central).
  • Je bent in het bezit van een heftruckattest en/of VCA-attest (of bereid dit te behalen).
  • Zeer goede beheersing van het Nederlands en het Engels.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk, communicatief, een doener die van aanpakken weet en rust brengt door het overzicht te bewaren
