De functie vraagt om enige technische en praktische werkervaring, bijvoorbeeld in montage, techniek, zonwering, kozijnen of elektra. Deze ervaring is echter geen harde eis. Kandidaten zonder ervaring zijn ook welkom, zolang zij technisch handig zijn, graag met hun handen werken en gemotiveerd zijn om het vak te leren. Daarnaast is het belangrijk dat je zelfstandig én in teamverband kunt werken en veilig op hoogte kunt werken.

Je gaat werken bij een technisch gespecialiseerd bedrijf dat zich bezighoudt met het plaatsen van kozijnen, zonwering, overkappingen etc.. De organisatie werkt voor particuliere en zakelijke klanten op verschillende locaties. Vakmanschap, kwaliteit, veiligheid en klanttevredenheid staan centraal. Er heerst een praktische en informele werksfeer, met ruimte om het vak in de praktijk te leren.

Als monteur kozijnen / zonwering werk je samen met een collega bij klanten. Je monteert, onderhoudt en repareert verschillende soorten kozijnen, zonweringen, overkappingen etc.. Je controleert het werk, signaleert problemen en zorgt voor een nette en veilige oplevering. Je werkt met professioneel gereedschap en verschillende materialen.

Technische of praktische ervaring in bijvoorbeeld montage, techniek, zonwering, kozijnen of elektra is een pré, maar geen harde eis. Ook zonder ervaring ben je welkom als je technisch handig bent, graag met je handen werkt en gemotiveerd bent om het vak te leren. Je kunt zelfstandig werken, maar ook goed samenwerken. Daarnaast kun je veilig op hoogte werken.

Het werk is afwisselend: je werkt op verschillende locaties en krijgt te maken met uiteenlopende situaties en klanten. Je moet praktisch kunnen denken, problemen kunnen herkennen en oplossingen zoeken. Het werk kan fysiek zijn en vraagt regelmatig om het tillen en monteren van materialen. Veiligheid staat hierbij altijd voorop.

Je hebt regelmatig contact met klanten en bent daarmee het visitekaartje van de organisatie. Een klantvriendelijke en professionele houding is daarom belangrijk. De functie biedt een mooie combinatie van techniek, buitenwerk, afwisseling en klantcontact. Ook voor iemand zonder ervaring is dit een goede kans om een technisch vak te leren en je te ontwikkelen tot een vakbekwaam monteur.
