Als Operations Lead ben jij een belangrijke schakel binnen ons depot in Lummen. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de dagelijkse operationele doelstellingen worden behaald en dat de processen van afhaling tot levering efficiënt, veilig en correct verlopen.

Je stuurt medewerkers op de werkvloer aan, bewaakt de kwaliteit van de verschillende processen en zorgt ervoor dat iedereen weet wat er moet gebeuren. Dankzij jouw coaching, communicatie en hands-on aanpak blijft het team gemotiveerd en draait het avondproces op volle kracht.

Wat ga je doen als Operations Lead?

  • Je coördineert en volgt de verwerking van retours en afhalingen op, inclusief laad-, los- en sorteeractiviteiten tijdens het avondproces.
  • Je bewaakt de efficiëntie, kwaliteit en veiligheid van de dagelijkse operationele activiteiten.
  • Je ondersteunt, begeleidt en coacht medewerkers en chauffeurs door regelmatig te communiceren en gerichte feedback te geven.
  • Je ziet erop toe dat alle veiligheidsvoorschriften en interne richtlijnen correct worden nageleefd.
  • Je brengt processen en werkinstructies in kaart en denkt actief mee over verbeteringen en efficiëntere werkmethodes.
  • Je helpt bij het opvolgen van de planning en werkverdeling, rekening houdend met de polyvalentie en competenties van de medewerkers.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de juiste mensen op het juiste moment worden ingezet om samen de vooropgestelde operationele doelstellingen te behalen.
  • Je bent zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer en vormt een aanspreekpunt voor je team.

We zoeken vooral iemand die graag mensen aanstuurt, verantwoordelijkheid neemt en de handen uit de mouwen steekt.

Je herkent jezelf in het volgende:

  • Je bent bereid om te werken in een late shift van 13u tot 21u.
  • Je bent een echte people manager en teamplayer die zich voluit inzet voor het team.
  • Je communiceert duidelijk en weet je communicatiestijl aan te passen aan verschillende gesprekspartners.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk, stressbestendig en houdt het overzicht, ook wanneer het druk wordt.
  • Je hebt een praktische en probleemoplossende ingesteldheid.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van het Frans is mooi meegenomen.
  • Ervaring in een logistieke, operationele of leidinggevende functie is een pluspunt.
