Als Privacy Consultant adviseer je organisaties over privacywetgeving en gegevensbescherming. Je begeleidt DPIA's, ontwikkelt privacybeleid, beoordeelt gegevensverwerkingen en werkt samen met diverse stakeholders om privacyrisico's te beheersen. Met jouw expertise help je organisaties hun privacyprocessen te versterken en persoonsgegevens op een rechtmatige en veilige manier te verwerken. Over de rol Als Privacy Consultant ben je verantwoordelijk voor het adviseren, coördineren en bewaken van privacy- en gegevensbeschermingsvraagstukken binnen de organisatie, met bijzondere aandacht voor de naleving van de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) en aanverwante wet- en regelgeving. Je vervult een centrale rol in het ontwikkelen, implementeren en onderhouden van het privacy beleid en ziet toe op een zorgvuldige, rechtmatige en transparante verwerking van persoonsgegevens binnen de organisatie. Daarnaast fungeer je als inhoudelijk sparringpartner voor management, projectteams en medewerkers bij privacyvraagstukken en geef je gevraagd en ongevraagd advies over de toepassing van privacywetgeving in processen, systemen en projecten. Je draagt actief bij aan het vergroten van het privacybewustzijn binnen de organisatie door het verzorgen van voorlichting, communicatie en begeleiding op het gebied van gegevensbescherming en informatieveiligheid. In deze rol werk je nauw samen met verschillende interne en externe stakeholders, waaronder juridische adviseurs, informatiebeveiligingsspecialisten en proceseigenaren, om privacyrisico's tijdig te signaleren, te beoordelen en passende beheersmaatregelen te implementeren.
