The posting

Als Process Engineer werk je aan de betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en efficiëntie van productieprocessen binnen een technisch georiënteerde productieomgeving. Je analyseert operationele knelpunten, vertaalt data naar structurele verbeteringen en ondersteunt de productie bij de implementatie van duurzame oplossingen. De functie combineert procesanalyse, projectmanagement en samenwerking op de werkvloer. Door verbeterinitiatieven van concept tot borging te begeleiden, lever je een directe bijdrage aan hogere productiviteit, minder stilstand en een stabieler productieproces.

Wat ga je doen?

Procesanalyse en continue verbetering

Productieproblemen structureel oplossen. Je analyseert verstoringen en afwijkingen in het productieproces, brengt de onderliggende oorzaken in kaart en werkt gerichte voorstellen uit om herhaling te voorkomen. Processen optimaliseren. Je visualiseert bestaande processen, ontwikkelt verbeterde werkmethodes en organiseert de nodige testen om nieuwe procesinstellingen of werkwijzen te valideren. Verbeterpotentieel identificeren. Je modereert workshops met productie, onderhoud en andere betrokken afdelingen om kansen rond veiligheid, productiviteit, kwaliteit en technische beschikbaarheid te detecteren. Procesprestaties monitoren. Je definieert en ondersteunt systemen voor procesmonitoring. Aan de hand van onder meer downtime-analyses, procesdata en prestatie-indicatoren maak je afwijkingen zichtbaar en bepaal je gerichte verbeteracties.

Projecten en procesborging

Verbeterprojecten van a tot z beheren. Je initieert en leidt optimalisatie- en implementatieprojecten rond onder andere safety, productiviteit en onderhoud. Daarbij bewaak je de scope, planning, voortgang en technische resultaten. Projectteams coördineren. Je stemt af met interne en externe stakeholders, superviseert de betrokken projectteamleden en integreert hun technische expertise in haalbare en gedragen oplossingen. Resultaten duurzaam verankeren. Na implementatie controleer je of de beoogde resultaten worden bereikt. Je borgt verbeteringen in processen en standaarden en neemt bijkomende maatregelen wanneer de prestaties afwijken. Risico's beheersen. Je voert risicoanalyses uit voor bestaande en gewijzigde processen en vertaalt de bevindingen naar preventieve maatregelen die de veiligheid en bedrijfszekerheid versterken. Productie documentair ondersteunen. Je stelt duidelijke werkinstructies, procesdocumentatie en standaard operationele procedures op, zodat medewerkers processen veilig, correct en reproduceerbaar kunnen uitvoeren.

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in elektromechanica of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Je hebt minstens drie jaar ervaring als engineer binnen een technisch georiënteerde productieomgeving. Je bouwde bij voorkeur al ervaring op als Process Engineer en bent vertrouwd met processimulaties, procesoptimalisatie en het opstellen en implementeren van standaard operationele procedures.
  • Je beschikt over een brede kennis van process engineering en hebt een goed begrip van Lean- en Six Sigma-technieken. Je kunt downtime- en procesdata vlot analyseren en deze inzichten vertalen naar pragmatische, technisch haalbare verbetervoorstellen.
  • Je hebt een sterk ontwikkeld veiligheidsbewustzijn en houdt bij technische keuzes consequent rekening met risico's, procedures en veilige werkmethodes.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt initiatief en weet werkzaamheden gestructureerd vooruit te sturen. Tegelijk ben je hands-on en pragmatisch ingesteld en zoek je actief de samenwerking op met collega's, projectleden en andere stakeholders.
  • Je communiceert vloeiend in het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van het Duits vormt een pluspunt
