The posting

Als Procurement Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aankoopbeleid en de dagelijkse werking van de aankoopafdeling. Je stuurt het aankoopteam aan, bepaalt mee de aankoopstrategie en bewaakt het aankoopproces en voorraadbeheer. Je combineert een strategische blik met een hands-on aanpak en werkt nauw samen met leveranciers, engineering en productie.

Jouw rol:

  • aansturen, coachen en ondersteunen van het aankoopteam
  • bepalen van prioriteiten en zorgen voor een efficiënte werkverdeling en planning binnen de dienst
  • mee bepalen en uitvoeren van de aankoopstrategie
  • dragen van de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor het aankoopproces, voorraadbeheer en strategische componentgroepen
  • opbouwen en onderhouden van duurzame relaties met leveranciers
  • onderhandelen over prijzen, contracten en leveringsvoorwaarden
  • selecteren en evalueren van leveranciers op vlak van kwaliteit, kostprijs en leverbetrouwbaarheid
  • opvolgen van marktevoluties, prijzen, productontwikkelingen, beschikbaarheden en technologische ontwikkelingen
  • signaleren van knelpunten en bewaken van de continuïteit van de supply chain
  • initiëren en implementeren van verbeteringen binnen aankoop en voorraadbeheer
  • verder uitbouwen en professionaliseren van de aankoopafdeling
  • nauw samenwerken met engineering, productie en andere interne afdelingen
  • rechtstreeks rapporteren aan de zaakvoerders
  • je beschikt over een masterdiploma, in een technische richting
  • je hebt relevante ervaring binnen aankoop, procurement of supply chain management, bij voorkeur in een technische omgeving
  • je bent een natuurlijke leider en hebt ervaring met het aansturen, coachen en begeleiden van medewerkers
  • je bent een sterke onderhandelaar en bouwt vlot relaties op met leveranciers en interne stakeholders
  • je bent analytisch sterk en kan marktinformatie, prijzen en leveranciersprestaties vertalen naar concrete beslissingen
  • je combineert een gestructureerde aanpak met de nodige pragmatiek en daadkracht
  • je behoudt het overzicht en kan prioriteiten stellen in een dynamische omgeving
  • je werkt vlot samen met collega's uit verschillende afdelingen
  • je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels; kennis van Frans en/of Duits is een plus
