Voor een gerenommeerd en innovatief productiebedrijf in de regio Ieper zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven en strategische Production Manager. In deze sleutelrol ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden, sturen en optimaliseren van de volledige productieorganisatie. Je geeft direct en indirect leiding aan de productieteams, bewaakt de operationele KPI's en bouwt mee aan een continue verbetercultuur. Je werkt nauw samen met het managementteam en onderhoudt sterke bruggen met afdelingen zoals Supply Chain, Kwaliteit en HR.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Eindverantwoordelijkheid & Sturing: Algemene leiding over de dagelijkse productieactiviteiten en de operationele aansturing van het gehele productieteam (inclusief supervisors/teamleaders).
  • Strategie & Optimalisatie: Vertalen van bedrijfstargets naar heldere productiedoelstellingen, capaciteitsplanningen en efficiënte procesuitvoeringen.
  • Cross-functionele Samenwerking: Eerste aanspreekpunt voor en nauwe afstemming met Supply Chain, Technisch Onderhoud, Kwaliteit en Veiligheid om organisatiedoelen te behalen.
  • Continuous Improvement: Waarborgen en stimuleren van initiatieven rond continue verbetering (Lean, 5S, Safety First) ten behoeve van efficiëntie, kwaliteit en veiligheid.
  • People Leadership & Cultuur: Bouwen aan een betrokken en professionele organisatiecultuur. Coachen, opleiden en motiveren van de leidinggevenden op de vloer.
  • KPI Management & Rapportage: Opvolgen, analyseren en bijsturen van productie-KPI's (OEE, uitval, veiligheidsstatistieken) en rechtstreeks rapporteren aan de Plant/Operations Director.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Opleiding & Ervaring: Je beschikt over een master- of bachelordiploma (bij voorkeur in een technische of speditionele richting) en hebt meerdere jaren ervaring in een leidinggevende productierol (bv. als Production Manager of senior Supervisor).
  • Leiderschap: Je bent een inspirerende people manager die rust uitstraalt, duidelijke kaders stelt en op een empathische maar daadkrachtige wijze teams coacht en in hun kracht zet.
  • Analytisch & Organisatorisch: Je doorgrondt snel complexe productieprocessen, brengt structuur aan en bewaart altijd de helikopterview, ook bij hectiek.
  • Communicatie & Talen: Je communiceert vlot en krachtig op alle organisatieniveaus. Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en hebt een goede professionele kennis van het Frans en Engels.
  • Proces- en Kwaliteitsgericht: Kennis van ERP-systemen (bij voorkeur SAP) is een plus. Veiligheid, ergonomie en kwaliteit zitten in jouw DNA verankerd.
  • Flexibiliteit: Je hebt affiniteit met een volcontinu/meerploegenstelsel en toont de nodige bereidheid om feeling te houden met alle shifts op de vloer.
