Jobomschrijving

As a Production Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily operations of a modern packaging and production department. You lead a team of approximately 150 employees across multiple packaging lines and ensure that production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are achieved efficiently and safely.

You are a visible leader on the shop floor, coaching and supporting your team while continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and performance.

What will you do?

  • Lead and support a large operational team, including direct supervision of team leaders.
  • Monitor production planning, quality, safety and productivity targets.
  • Coordinate closely with planning, logistics and maintenance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Follow up on employee performance, coaching and development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure products meet the highest quality standards and customer expectations.

Who are you?

  • You have experience in a supervisory role within a production, packaging or food manufacturing environment.
  • You are a strong people manager who can motivate, coach and develop teams.
  • You remain calm under pressure and can effectively prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • You have an interest in production processes and a willingness to develop your technical knowledge.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English; knowledge of Romanian is an asset.
  • You are quality-focused, hands-on and solution-oriented.
  • You understand the flexibility required in a fresh food environment where quality and customer service are key.
