Job description As a Project Buyer, you represent the procurement function within (customer) projects. You play a key role in supplier selection and ensure that all procurement processes seamlessly align with project objectives. You work closely with project managers, group-level commodity buyers, and Supplier Engineers, reporting to the Team Lead Supply Chain Services. You responsibilities also include: - Selecting and approving suppliers based on customer requirements and relevant commodity strategies; - Negotiating project packages (across QLTC) and monitoring the CPR roadmap; - Developing and executing procurement strategies in collaboration with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Engineers; - Ensuring the timely availability of materials by placing and following up on project orders; - Optimizing procurement costs in line with the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) mindset. - Job Requirements - Higher Professional Education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in Industrial Engineering and Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role; - Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude toward continuous process improvement; - Experience with ERP systems (ERP LN / Infor) and an affinity for IT tools; - Excellent negotiation skills and communication skills in both Dutch and English. - Your Benefits At NTS, we combine our passion for technology with innovative solutions for complex challenges.
