The way you communicate, act, and collaborate with the customer directly shapes how AEGIR-Marine is perceived. You are the trusted expert for our customers when it comes to the mechanical part of propulsion systems. You don't only service propulsion systems-you analyze technical issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure the high level of quality AEGIR-Marine stands for, wherever it is needed. Your Responsibilities As a Propulsion Engineer, you focus on servicing, analyzing, supporting, and improving the mechanical parts of propulsion systems, both remotely and on site: - Technical Support & Service: Provide high-quality service and technical support on the mechanical parts of propulsion systems, either independently or in collaboration with team members. - Problem-Solving & Analysis: Analyze complex technical issues and translate them into practical, reliable solutions. - Global Mobilization: Travel to shipyards and vessels worldwide to execute hands-on on-site service. - Broad Mechanical Scope: Work with a wide range of propulsion systems, including controllable pitch propellers (CPP), thrusters, seals, and bearings. - Technical Reporting: Prepare clear technical reports and advise customers on maintenance, repair, and optimization.
