Als Senior accountant neem je de boekhouding van meerdere entiteiten in handen en werkt nauw samen met de accounting manager. De combinatie van internationale GL-accounting, complexe boekhoudkundige dossiers en procesverbetering geeft deze rol de breedte die een ervaren hoofdboekhouder zoekt.

Senior Accountant - Job omschrijving

  • Je stuurt de maandafsluitingen van meerdere vennootschappen, voert intercompanyreconciliaties uit en controleert de boekhoudkundige verwerking door buitenlandse kantoren, zodat alle dossiers correct en tijdig aansluiten.
  • Je coördineert fiscale aangiftes, jaarrekeningen en externe audits, onderhoudt het contact met accountants, revisoren en belastingadviseurs en behandelt samen met de accounting manager complexe verrichtingen zoals partiële splitsingen en asset deals.
  • Je verbetert processen en applicaties, volgt relevante wijzigingen in lokale regelgeving op en behandelt verzekeringsdossiers in overleg met interne collega's en de verzekeringsmakelaar.

Senior Accountant - Profiel

  • Je combineert een een diploma in accountancy of fiscaliteit met reeds enkele jaren GL-accountingervaring en de inhoudelijke maturiteit om zelfstandig meerdere vennootschappen op te volgen.
  • Je beschikt over grondige BE GAAP-kennis, werkt vlot met SAP en brengt internationale ervaring mee; een achtergrond als hoofdboekhouder sluit goed aan bij de breedte van deze functie.
  • Je communiceert helder in Nederlands en Engels, stelt kritische vragen en schakelt flexibel tussen interne stakeholders en externe kantoren, zonder nauwkeurigheid of dossieropvolging uit het oog te verliezen.
