JOUW ROL Bij CEVA Logistics zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren Senior Declarant (Senior Customs Agent) voor ons team in Schiphol. Als Senior Declarant ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het stellen van de juiste prioriteiten van onze douanewerkzaamheden voor de lucht- en zeevracht. Je bent het vaktechnische aanspreekpunt binnen het team en werkt nauw samen met de Customs Supervisor voor een efficiënte werkverdeling. In deze veelzijdige rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor een mix van operationele, coördinerende en adviserende taken. Je behandelt complexe douaneaangiftes, zoals tijdelijke invoer, dual-use en militaire goederen, en voorkomt problemen en klachten, of lost ze effectief op. Daarmee lever je een waardevolle bijdrage aan onze dienstverlening voor brokerage-only klanten. Daarnaast stel je periodieke rapportages op en fungeer je als primaire aanspreekpunt voor collega's en klanten. Samenvattend bestaan jouw werkzaamheden onder andere uit: - Het vaktechnisch begeleiden en ondersteunen van collega-declaranten; - Het opstellen, controleren en verwerken van complexe douanedocumenten; - Het bewaken en optimaliseren van douaneprocedures en naleving van wet- en regelgeving; - Het opvolgen van bevindingen uit verbetertrajecten die voortkomen uit audits; - Het onderhouden van contact met interne en externe klanten én de Douane; - En uiteraard: wanneer nodig, sparren met je leidinggevende over complexe of uitzonderlijke situaties.
