Als Senior Software Engineer trägst du die technische Verantwortung für deine Entwicklungsaufgaben und Komponenten und entwickelst eigenständig Softwarelösungen im Aufgabenbereich deines Teams. Dabei geht es nicht um Individuallösungen, sondern um Produkte wie Kubernetes, DBaaS oder Object Storage, die skalieren und stabil laufen müssen. Moderne Workflows und AI-gestützte Tools helfen dir dabei, dich auf die Dinge zu konzentrieren, die wirklich Wirkung haben.

#Profile

* Entwicklung der Softwarekomponenten im Verantwortungsbereich des Teams inkl. umfassender technischer Verantwortung für zugewiesene Aufgaben und Komponenten

* Sicherstellung von Funktionalität, Sicherheit und Performance durch kontinuierliche Verbesserung, Problemanalyse und Root-Cause-Analysen

* Überwachung des Betriebs mittels Monitorings sowie Bereitstellung von Patches bei Störungen

* Unterstützung bei technischer Detailplanung und Aufwandsabschätzung sowie Identifikation und Lösung von Herausforderungen im Team

* Reporting des Projektfortschritts sowie frühzeitige Eskalation bei gefährdeten Projektzielen

* Aktives Mentoring und Wissensaufbau für andere Entwickler:innen

* Koordination und Austausch mit anderen Teams, Development Lead, Chief Solution Architect und Chief Technical Officer

#Wanted

* Abgeschlossene Ausbildung und mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Softwarentwicklung mit den im Team eingesetzten Programmiersprachen (Python/Go)

* Erfahrung mit Container-Technologien (Docker, Kubernetes), APIs (RESTful, gRPC) und relationalen Datenbanken mit hohen Anforderungen an Performance und Daten-Integrität

* Erfahrung mit Linux, verteilten Systemen und Cloud-Plattformen wie AWS, GCP oder Azure von Vorteil

* Methodische, eigenverantwortliche und strukturierte Arbeitsweise mit hohem Qualitätsanspruch

* Starke Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie Freude an Wissensvermittlung und Mentoring von Kolleg:innen

* Hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein und eine ausgeprägte Ownership-Mentalität

* Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
