Als software ontwikkelaar werk je nauw samen met de ICT Manager om bedrijfsgerichte software te creëren en te verbeteren. Je zorgt er niet alleen voor dat de software gebruiksvriendelijk is maar ook functioneel voldoet aan de wensen van de gebruikers.

Volgende taken vallen onder jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je duikt in de behoeften van de eindgebruikers en vertaalt deze naar specificaties voor softwareontwikkeling.
  • Samen met je collega’s plan je de implementatie van softwareaanpassingen waarbij je zorgvuldig let op de bijhorende risico’s en de interactie met bestaande systemen.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden van bestaande applicaties en het ontwikkelen van nieuwe functies.
  • Testen en debuggen van software om eventuele fouten op te sporen en op te lossen.
  • Je blijft op de hoogte van de nieuwe ontwikkelingen in de sector, voert onderzoekt uit en test nieuwe technologieën.
  • Daarnaast schrijf je duidelijke documentatie uit voor zowel gebruikers als collega’s binnen de IT afdeling.
  • Jouw expertise deel je met anderen zodat zij de interne en externe software effectiever kunnen gebruiken.
  • Tot slot sta je paraat om vragen te beantwoorden en dringende problemen op te lossen, ook tijdens de afwezigheid van jouw collega’s.

Binnen deze functie kan je je vinden in onderstaand plaatje:

  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma Informatica.
  • Daarnaast heb je een relevante werkervaring van minstens 2 à 3 jaar binnen software of het ontwikkelen van applicaties.
  • Je hebt expertise in Java 8/11, C#, .Net Core, en ervaring met frameworks zoals React en Angular.
  • Sterke interesse in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI en SharePoint.
  • Kennis van tools zoals Visual Studio, Code, Eclipse, DevOps zijn een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken, dit doe je steeds op een nauwkeurige manier.
  • Naast het Nederlands kan je je vlot uitdrukken in het Engels, zowel geschreven als gesproken.
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig en blijft op de hoogte van de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in jouw vakgebied, deze kennis pas je dan ook steeds toe in jouw werk.
