Wij zoeken een gepassioneerde en ervaren Sous-chef die samen met ons van Paul de Pierre een culinaire topper wil maken.

Als assistent van onze Chef help je erop toe te zien dat alles in de keuken vlot verloopt.

Als sous-chef werk je nauw samen met het ganse keukenteam en draag je bij aan het creëren van een culinaire ervaring van topniveau.

Jouw taken:

  • Voorbereiden en klaarmaken van koude gerechten, salades, amuses en voorgerechten.
  • Samenstellen van koude buffetten voor evenementen.
  • Zorgen voor een aantrekkelijke presentatie van de gerechten.
  • Meedenken over het menu en voorstellen doen voor nieuwe, creatieve koude gerechten.
  • Het naleven van de hygiëneregels (HACCP) en zorgen voor een ordelijke werkplek.
  • Samenwerken met de Chef de Cuisine en het keukenteam om een vlotte dienstverlening te garanderen.

Wat maakt ons anders?

  • We zijn geen typisch restaurant, geen gewoon eventlocatie… we zijn een horecabedrijf dat gastronomie aanbiedt. Dit zorgt ervoor dat we heel creatief en divers werken. Geen menu die 3 maand dezelfde is, geen sleur, wel diversiteit en continue ontdekkingen/uitdagingen.
  • Work-life-balance is bij ons belangrijk. Horeca is een harde stiel, veel werken, maar het kan ook anders. Daarom is het restaurant bij ons enkel open op vrijdag, zaterdagavond en zondagmiddag. Ons team bestaat uit jonge mensen en ervaren rakkers met een gezinsleven. We vinden het belangrijk om zaterdagmiddag nog even te kunnen genieten van ons gezin, de zondagavond thuis te kunnen zijn, alsook de maandagavond, dinsdag, woensdag en soms zelfs een donderdag.
  • De vrijheid die we bieden door zo weinig open te zijn, kan je zelf invullen. Liever een dagje meer thuis zijn? Of liever ons meehelpen om Paul de Pierre naar het volgend niveau te brengen? Of kom je een halve dag nieuwe gerechtjes uittesten? Flexibel en op maat van jouw wensen en ambities.
  • Paul de Pierre wil groeien als onderneming.We vergaderen wekelijks om ervoor te zorgen dat het werk aangenamer, vlotter en efficiënter wordt.Het gaat niet om de laatste wortel-trend te volgen, maar om Paul de Pierre als bedrijf naar een hoger niveau te brengen.
  • Naast Paul de Pierre zijn er nog veel nevenprojecten waar we mee bezig zijn.Beetje energie te veel? Dan kunnen we jouw hulp best wel gebruiken in één van onze kleine spin-offs.
  • Je hebt ervaring als Sous-chef of een vergelijkbare functie in de horeca.
  • Je hebt een passie voor verse ingrediënten en het creëren van smaakvolle en creatieve gerechten.
  • Sterk oog voor detail en presentatie.
  • Je werkt georganiseerd en hebt een hoog verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
  • Je kunt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken.
  • Flexibel en stressbestendig, zeker tijdens piekmomenten
