Een rol waarin je je groene hart en bomenkennis volop inzet, in een stad die voorop loopt in vergroening en klimaatadaptatie. Waar kom je terecht? De gemeente 's-Hertogenbosch telt maar liefst 100.000 bomen, waarvan 1.800 monumentaal. De stad loopt voorop als het gaat om vergroening en klimaatadaptatie. Om dit groene kapitaal gezond en toekomstbestendig te houden, zoeken we een specialist bomen. In deze rol heb jij het overzicht. Je werkt nauw samen met je collega's van het bomenteam en met verschillende aannemers. Als expert ben je een belangrijke sparringpartner en adviseur. Dat geldt binnen de organisatie, bijvoorbeeld voor de afdeling Leefomgeving, maar ook daarbuiten. Denk aan partners, zoals Rijkswaterstaat en waterschappen. Soms heb je ook contact met bewoners, bijvoorbeeld om meldingen of plannen te bespreken. We zoeken een echte teamspeler die openstaat voor de mening van collega's. Je kunt goed feedback geven én ontvangen. Je denkt in oplossingen, gaat daadkrachtig aan de slag en pakt verbeteringen proactief op. Met je heldere communicatie weet je anderen te inspireren en te overtuigen. Wat ga je doen? - Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor het beheer en onderhoud van 100.000 bomen en stelt de plannen, jaarplanning en -begroting op voor het snoeien, rooien, renoveren en planten. - Je coördineert de werkzaamheden die hieruit voortvloeien en zorgt dat iedereen op het juiste moment de juiste rol pakt. - Je denkt mee over het bomenbeleid en de strategie rondom klimaatadaptatie. - Je adviseert over renovatie- en nieuwbouwprojecten waarin bomen een rol spelen en over specifieke vraagstukken, zoals de kastanjebloedingsziekte of aansprakelijkheidsstellingen bij schade door bomen. - Je stelt samen met het bomenteam, specialisten van andere di...
