Voor een gevestigde organisatie in regio Waasmunster zoeken we een Teamlead Logistiek. De onderneming maakt deel uit van een internationale groep en beschikt tegelijk over een sterk lokaal verankerde werking, waar persoonlijk contact en stabiliteit belangrijk blijven.

Binnen de supply chain vormt logistiek een cruciale schakel tussen orderverwerking en verzending. Als Teamlead Logistiek neem je de dagelijkse leiding over een ploeg van een 20-tal medewerkers, ondersteund door twee assistent-coördinatoren. Daarbij ligt jouw focus niet alleen op de goederenstroom, maar vooral op capaciteitsplanning, prestaties, coaching en personeelsopvolging.

Het merendeel van de functie bestaat uit coördinatie, administratie en people management. De overige tijd blijf je dicht bij de operatie en spring je bij wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt. Je rapporteert aan de magazijnmanager en stemt regelmatig af met de verantwoordelijke van de andere ploeg.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De dagelijkse logistieke operatie stuur je aan op basis van capaciteit, personeelsbezetting, workload, output en kwaliteit, waarbij je tijdig bijstuurt wanneer de planning daarom vraagt
  • Als Teamlead Logistiek coach en begeleid je een 20-tal medewerkers en voer je gesprekken over prestaties, motivatie, welzijn, afwezigheden en ontwikkeling
  • Een correcte overdracht tussen de vroege en late ploeg verzeker je samen met de andere coördinator, terwijl je de voortgang binnen de logistieke processen nauwgezet bewaakt
  • Naast personeelsplanning en administratieve opvolging neem je verantwoordelijkheid voor een veilige en georganiseerde operatie, met aandacht voor 5S en opleidingsbehoeften binnen het team
  • Tijdens operationele piekmomenten spring je waar nodig bij op de werkvloer, zodat je voeling houdt met de processen en ongeveer 20% van je tijd hands-on betrokken blijft
  • Ervaring binnen een magazijn- of logistieke omgeving is een absolute vereiste en vormt de relevante basis voor deze functie
  • Daarnaast beschik je ook minstens over een eerste ervaring in het aansturen en motiveren van medewerkers, waarbij ervaring met een ploeg van 10 tot 20 personen goed aansluit
  • Kennis van 5S of Lean-principes is een pluspunt, terwijl specifieke attesten voor deze functie niet vereist zijn
  • Een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands is noodzakelijk en Engels is een plus, gecombineerd met een rustige, menselijke leiderschapsstijl en bereidheid om operationeel betrokken te blijven
