The posting

Bouw mee aan de toekomst van transport en logistieke efficiëntie.

Voor een gevestigde speler binnen de industriële dienstverlening, met een sterke focus op kwaliteit, duurzaamheid en maatschappelijke relevantie, zoeken we een Transport Manager die de transportorganisatie naar een hoger niveau tilt.

Vanuit een overkoepelende rol ondersteun je verschillende vestigingen in het optimaliseren van hun transportactiviteiten. Je combineert analytisch inzicht met een hands-on aanpak en weet mensen mee te nemen in structurele verbeteringen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Transportoptimalisatie: je analyseert transportstromen, bewaakt kosten en identificeert opportuniteiten om de efficiëntie en inzet van het wagenpark te verbeteren.
  • Procesverbetering: je ontwikkelt uniforme procedures en zorgt voor meer structuur en samenwerking tussen verschillende vestigingen.
  • Digitalisering: je draagt bij aan de implementatie en optimalisatie van een Transport Management System (TMS).
  • KPI's en rapportering: je volgt transportprestaties op, vergelijkt resultaten tussen vestigingen en vertaalt analyses naar concrete acties.
  • Fleetmanagement: je ondersteunt het beheer en de optimale inzet van een omvangrijk vrachtwagenpark.
  • Stakeholdermanagement: je adviseert en overtuigt lokale transportverantwoordelijken en managers om verbeteringen effectief te realiseren.

Je bent een analytische en resultaatgerichte transportprofessional die strategisch kan meedenken, maar ook voldoende voeling heeft met de dagelijkse transportoperatie.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in het volgende profiel:

  • Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen transport of logistiek.
  • Je beschikt over sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
  • Je hebt kennis van transportplanning, transportwetgeving en bij voorkeur TMS-systemen.
  • Je weet structuur aan te brengen, prioriteiten te stellen en verbeterprojecten tot een goed einde te brengen.
  • Je communiceert vlot en slaagt erin verschillende stakeholders te overtuigen en mee te nemen in verandering.
  • Ervaring binnen een grotere organisatie met meerdere vestigingen is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands uitstekend en beschikt over een goede kennis van het Frans en Engels.
