Onze opdrachtgever is een vooraanstaande, gevestigde speler binnen transport en logistiek, gevestigd in de regio Haaltert. Met een rijk verleden van meer dan 50 jaar ervaring in de sector is de organisatie uitgegroeid tot een geoliede machine met een jaarlijkse verwerking van tienduizenden transportopdrachten. Het bedrijf beschikt over een eigen modern wagenpark van tientallen vrachtwagens en bedient dagelijks een brede, diverse klantenportefeuille binnen de gehele Benelux.

Duurzaamheid, efficiëntie en menselijk kapitaal staan hier centraal. Je komt terecht in een hecht team van 5 collega’s, waar een sterke no-nonsense cultuur heerst. Doordat meerdere teamleden hun carrière zijn gestart achter het stuur, is er een enorme dosis praktijk- en sectorkennis op de werkvloer aanwezig.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Het feilloos afstemmen van circa 180 dagelijkse ritten binnen de Benelux vormt jouw kernverantwoordelijkheid
  • Zowel het opstellen van de planning voor de volgende dag als de operationele opvolging tijdens de uitvoering liggen in jouw handen
  • Als rechtstreeks aanspreekpunt voor klanten verzorg je een professionele en vlotte dienstverlening bij uiteenlopende vragen
  • Chauffeurs rekenen op jou voor heldere instructies en praktische afstemming gedurende de werkdag
  • Werken gebeurt binnen een flexibel twee-ploegenstelsel met vaste shriften van 06:00 tot 16:00 uur of van 08:00 tot 18:00 uur
  • Een logistiek diploma (bachelor of master) is een grote troef; aantoonbare affiniteit en marktkennis van de transportsector zijn essentieel
  • Enkele jaren relevante ervaring in transportplanning of dispatching zorgen ervoor dat je de werking van distributiecentra, vrachtwagens en transportprocessen door en door kent
  • Een grondige beheersing van digitale transport- en planningstoepassingen stelt je in staat om omvangrijke planningen nauwkeurig te beheren
  • Vlot communiceren in het Nederlands, Frans én Engels is noodzakelijk voor het contact met onze internationale chauffeurs en klanten
  • Sterk organisatorisch vermogen, stressbestendigheid en wendbaarheid helpen je om snel te schakelen bij onvoorziene situaties
