Misión del cargo:

Dirigir y coordinar la gestión médica del hospital, garantizando el cumplimiento de la normativa sanitaria, la planificación eficiente de servicios clínicos y quirúrgicos, y el relacionamiento con médicos internos y externos. Custodiar la documentación médica y estadísticas hospitalarias, asegurando calidad, ética y sostenibilidad en la atención al paciente.

Nivel de instrucción:

Título de Médico/a General.

Experiencia:

De 5 a 7 años de experiencia profesional en el ámbito médico y administrativo

Lugar de trabajo: Cuenca

Conocimientos técnicos requeridos.

- Normativa sanitaria vigente (MSP, ACESS, normativa hospitalaria).

- Reglamentación y custodia de historias clínicas e información médica.

- Procedimientos quirúrgicos y clínicos básicos para la supervisión y control.

- Planificación hospitalaria y gestión de turnos médicos y personal de apoyo.

- Procesos de certificación y mejora continua en salud (deseable - ej. ISO 9001).

- Análisis de estadísticas hospitalarias (cirugías, exámenes, emergencias, hospitalización).

Funciones a desempeñar:

- Custodiar y actualizar el reglamento médico del hospital, garantizando su cumplimiento.

- Revisar y aprobar la planificación diaria de cirugías y turnos, asegurando la cobertura adecuada de especialistas.

- Coordinar con jefaturas de enfermería, farmacia, laboratorio, imágenes, convenios y áreas afines para garantizar continuidad asistencial.

- Supervisar y custodiar la documentación clínica y estadística hospitalaria, asegurando integridad y confiabilidad.

- Establecer condiciones, deberes y derechos con médicos tratantes, actuando como nexo entre cuerpo médico y gerencia, acorde a la normativa interna del hospital.

- Representar al hospital en reuniones con comités médicos y autoridades sanitarias, participando activamente en procesos de auditoría y certificación.

- Otras funciones administrativas y médicas.
