Misión del cargo:

Apoyar al Ingeniero Principal de la finca en todas las etapas del ciclo de cultivo de maíz, optimizando la producción y gestionando al equipo operativo en tareas como riego, fertilización y control de plagas.

Nivel de instrucción:

Título de Tercer Nivel en Ing. Agrónoma

Experiencia:

1 año en cargos o fincas de agro similares.

Lugar de trabajo: Daular (Guayaquil, Cerecita, Chongón, Progreso)

Competencias:

Conocimientos técnicos requeridos.

- Conocimiento específico en cultivos de ciclo corto.

- Gestión de inventarios y abastecimiento de insumos.

- Manejo de técnicas de preparación y mezcla de insumos agrícolas

- Manejo y supervisión de personal

- Conocimiento de procesos mecánicos básicos

- Conocimiento en calibración y operación de maquinaria agrícola.

- Bases en manejo integrado de plagas y enfermedades en maíz.

- Conocimiento básico de prácticas de seguridad y salud ocupacional en el ámbito agrícola.

Funciones a desempeñar:

- Participar en la ejecución de las etapas del cultivo (siembra, riego, fertilización, control de plagas, cosecha) monitoreando el crecimiento del cultivo y detectar posibles problemas (enfermedades, plagas, deficiencias nutricionales) para proponer acciones correctivas.

- Realizar el inventario de insumos (fertilizantes, pesticidas, semillas, etc.) y prever las necesidades según el avance del ciclo asistiendo en la preparación de mezclas de insumos para cada fase del cultivo, siguiendo las indicaciones técnicas del Ingeniero Principal.

- Apoyar en la calibración y ajuste de maquinaria agrícola (sembradoras, fumigadoras, fertilizadoras) para asegurar un funcionamiento eficiente y preciso realizando verificaciones periódicas del estado.

- Supervisar al personal operativo en tareas como riego, fertilización y fumigación, asegurando el cumplimiento de los procedimientos apoyando en la asignación de tareas al equipo de campo según la etapa del cultivo y las necesidades operativas.

- Elaborar reportes sobre el estado del cultivo, inventario de insumos y actividades realizadas registrando mejoras para el cultivo.
