Misión del cargo:

Garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares técnicos, normativos y de calidad en las actividades de recolección, procesamiento, almacenamiento y control de calidad, supervisando al personal y los equipos, manteniendo la seguridad en el laboratorio y asegurando que los procedimientos y documentaciones estén en conformidad con los requisitos regulatorios y operativos.

Nivel de instrucción:

Título de Tercer Nivel como Ingeniero Biotencológico, Bioquímico, Biólogo o afines.

Experiencia:

Mínimo y 2 a 5 años de experiencia en práctica en manejo de laboratorio clínico o farmacéutico

Funciones a desempeñar:

- Garantizar la obtención y renovación de los permisos de funcionamiento y licenciamiento del banco de sangre de cordón umbilical.

- Supervisar la recolección, procesamiento, almacenamiento, estudios microbiológicos y control de calidad de la sangre de cordón umbilical.

- Evaluar cualquier variación que pueda impactar la integridad del producto, consultando con el director médico de ser necesario.

- Revisar, evaluar y aprobar cambios en procedimientos operativos estandarizados (POE).

- Asegurar que los POE específicos de equipos y procesos estén implementados, y verificar su cumplimiento mediante documentación adecuada.

- Mantener y verificar la correcta documentación de todos los procedimientos técnicos, asegurando que cualquier variación esté debidamente registrada.

- Establecer requisitos y criterios para la aceptación de unidades y gestionar discrepancias en papeleo.

- Asegurar que los técnicos estén capacitados en los procedimientos y protocolos establecidos, con énfasis en la correcta identificación de documentos y prevención de errores.

- Verificar que solo personal entrenado y calificado realice tareas específicas.

- Asignar números y gestionar nuevos equipos, asegurando la implementación de cronogramas de mantenimiento preventivo, calibración y limpieza según lo establecido en los POE específicos.

- Supervisar que contratistas autorizados sigan procedimientos dentro del laboratorio.

- Colaborar con el área de Aseguramiento de la Calidad para dar seguimiento a no conformidades, identificar sus causas, y notificar a los agentes contratantes si es necesario.

- Revisar reportes de variaciones, proponer acciones correctivas y garantizar la mejora continua.

- Coordinar y documentar procesos de validación, asegurando resultados aceptables y completando informes requeridos.

- Garantizar la implementación de protocolos de seguridad (vacunación contra Hepatitis B, manejo de desechos biopeligrosos, seguridad química y contra incendios) en el laboratorio.

- Supervisar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de accidentes y exposición de empleados.

- Obtener calificaciones de proveedores según los requisitos de Aseguramiento de la Calidad.

- Coordinar la ejecución de planes de validación con proveedores.

- Revisar resultados de pruebas infecciosas, comunicar hallazgos a los clientes y notificar a autoridades regulatorias como INDOT si es necesario.

- Elaborar reportes de validación y gestionar aprobaciones de documentos técnicos.
