Are you a pragmatic, business-minded lawyer eager to shape the legal foundation of a rapidly growing AI and energy technology company, ensuring compliance and enabling strategic deals?

Relevant experiences

  • A master's degree in law; admission to the bar is a plus.
  • Solid experience in commercial contracting, gained in-house at a technology or industrial company or at a law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and corporate law in an international context.
  • Experience with data protection and IP matters.
  • A pragmatic, business-oriented approach and strong negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English

Nice to have

  • Dutch is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with public procurement and utility tenders.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, hardware and AI-related contracts.
  • Exposure to M&A, investment or partnership transactions.Knowledge of NIS2, the EU AI Act or energy sector regulation.
  • Experience managing external counsel and legal budgets.

What you will do

Drive legal strategy, manage contracts, and ensure regulatory adherence.

You are a pragmatic, business-minded lawyer, helping the team close good deals quickly while protecting the company. Your responsibilities will include:

Contract management

Draft, review, and negotiate customer, supplier, distributor, and partnership agreements.

Strategic advisory

Advise management and the board on corporate governance, shareholder, and strategic transactions.

Compliance ownership

Own data protection, cybersecurity, and AI compliance topics with product and IT.

Intellectual property

Protect and manage intellectual property, licensing, and confidentiality.

Dispute handling

Handle contract disputes, claims, and terminations; coordinate external counsel.

Process development

Build contract templates, playbooks, and approval processes for commercial teams.
