Buscamos un Gerente de Construcción para liderar y coordinar la ejecución de proyectos complejos. Esta posición es responsable de dirigir todas las fases de los proyectos, asegurando seguridad, calidad, rentabilidad y cumplimiento de plazos, así como objetivos de sostenibilidad. Esta posición NO es en Colombia; por favor tener en cuenta antes de aplicar que la oportunidad de trabajo es en otro país de Centroamérica. Principales Responsabilidades Liderazgo y Cultura Guiar e inspirar equipos multidisciplinarios para alcanzar altos niveles de desempeño. Establecer relaciones a largo plazo con contratistas y proveedores bajo un enfoque colaborativo y beneficioso para ambas partes. Desarrollar y mentorizar al personal para fortalecer sus competencias técnicas y de liderazgo. Seguridad y Sostenibilidad Promover una cultura de cero incidentes mediante la implementación de estándares rigurosos de seguridad y salud ocupacional. Diseñar y mantener sistemas integrales de seguridad en todos los sitios de obra. Garantizar el cumplimiento de normativas locales y ambientales, incluyendo auditorías periódicas. Planificación y Presupuestos Supervisar la planificación inicial del proyecto, incluyendo análisis del terreno, estudios estructurales y cronogramas. Participar en la elaboración de presupuestos para asegurar estimaciones precisas y aprobaciones financieras. Introducir métodos constructivos innovadores que incrementen eficiencia y competitividad. Ejecución de Proyectos Dirigir la entrega de proyectos en distintas unidades de negocio, asegurando su finalización en tiempo y forma. Evaluar, negociar y seleccionar proveedores para maximizar calidad y valor. Supervisar indicadores clave de costo, plazo y calidad, ajustando estrategias cuando sea necesario. Identificar riesgos y establecer planes de mitigación desde etapas tempranas. Control de Costos y Value Engineering Elaborar y controlar presupuestos detallados para proteger los objetivos de rentabilidad. Aplicar metodologías de value engineering para reducir costos y aumentar el valor a largo plazo. Mantener una gestión financiera estricta durante toda la ejecución. Cierre e Innovación Continua Coordinar el cierre de proyectos, incluyendo entrega de documentación y traspaso a operaciones. Recopilar aprendizajes y aplicarlos en futuras iniciativas para impulsar la mejora continua. Requirements Formación Académica Título universitario en Ingeniería Civil. Maestría (MBA/MAPI o equivalente, preferiblemente con estudios internacionales). Experiencia y Conocimientos Más de 10 años gestionando proyectos de construcción desde la planificación hasta la entrega. Experiencia comprobada en control presupuestario, asignación de recursos y gestión de plazos. Amplio conocimiento en negociación de contratos y control de costos. Habilidades en identificación y mitigación de riesgos. Dominio de procesos constructivos, herramientas de gestión de proyectos y marcos regulatorios. Bilingüe español – inglés. Competencias Clave Visión estratégica y orientación empresarial. Enfoque en resultados con excelentes habilidades de negociación y gestión de partes interesadas. Capacidad de organización y atención al detalle. Indicadores de Desempeño (KPIs) Cumplimiento de plazos y presupuestos de los proyectos (variación menor al 5%). Cumplimiento de estándares de calidad y normativas. Cero fatalidades y accidentes con tiempo perdido. Alcance de objetivos del portafolio de proyectos en propiedades e instalaciones industriales.
